Is the graffiti workshop safe for individuals with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use high-quality, low-odour water-based spray paints where necessary and provide full protective gear, including masks, gloves, and aprons. Our artists are highly experienced in managing groups with various needs, ensuring a controlled, calm, and supportive environment throughout the workshop in La Plata. We always tailor the pace to the group's comfort level.

Where in La Plata do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you have a preferred local park in La Plata, a community centre, or want to host it at your own facility, we can make it work. We can even bring mobile wooden walls or large canvases if there isn't a permanent wall available. We just need a well-ventilated space to ensure everyone stays comfortable while they create.

How long does a typical session last?

Our workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining engagement without causing fatigue. However, we are happy to build in extra sensory breaks or split the session into smaller segments to suit the specific concentration levels and physical requirements of your group. We work at your rhythm!

Do participants need any prior artistic skills?

Not at all! This experience is about expression, not perfection. Our professional artists guide participants through the basics of 'tagging' and filling in shapes with simple, easy-to-follow instructions. We focus on the joy of the movement and the magic of the colours. Everyone leaves with a sense of pride in what they have helped create.

What should participants bring or wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide professional-grade aprons, gloves, and masks, street art can occasionally be a bit messy! We also suggest bringing a bottle of water and, most importantly, a heap of enthusiasm for trying something completely new.

Do we need to pay in advance for the booking?

Yes, we love making things easy for you! We don't require any upfront payment to secure your booking. You can enjoy the peace of mind knowing your event is scheduled, and you only pay after the workshop is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the creative experience we've delivered for your group.

The experience

Why choose a Graffitifun workshop for your group? We don't just teach people how to spray paint; we provide a platform for joy, confidence, and motor skill development. Here's what makes our La Plata sessions so special: ✨

Tailored pacing: We don't rush. If someone needs thirty minutes to pick the right shade of blue, that's thirty minutes well spent. 🐢
Sensory stimulation: The sound of the rattle, the feel of the spray, and the visual pop of the colours provide a wonderful sensory experience. 🌈
Confidence boost: Seeing a massive piece of art that you helped create provides an enormous sense of accomplishment. 💪
Expert guidance: Our artists aren't just talented painters; they are patient, empathetic, and love sharing their passion. 🎤
Social connection: It’s a brilliant way for participants to bond, communicate, and work together on a shared goal. 🤝
Mobile setups: We can come to your school, centre, or festival anywhere in La Plata! 🚚

Looking for a different type of event? We also offer sessions for Schools, Festivals, Bachelor parties, Brand activations, Company events, and Kids parties.

Step by step

Initial consultation: We chat about your group’s specific needs, mobility requirements, and sensory preferences to tailor the perfect La Plata experience.
Design brainstorming: Our artists help the group choose a theme or simple symbols that resonate with them, ensuring the project feels personal and meaningful.
Safety briefing: We introduce the gear—masks, gloves, and aprons—in a fun, non-intimidating way, making sure everyone feels secure and ready.
The first spray: Participants get a feel for the cans by spraying 'freestyle' on a practice surface or cardboard to build confidence and coordination.
Outline and filling: Under guided supervision, we begin the main piece, using vibrant colours to fill in the larger shapes and designs.
Adding details: For those who feel up to it, we add highlights and 'style' elements to make the artwork really pop off the wall.
The grand reveal: We take a moment to step back, admire the collective masterpiece, and snap some fantastic group photos.
Clean up and wrap up: We handle all the messy bits while participants enjoy the buzz of their creative achievement.

Local culture

La Plata isn't just the 'City of Diagonals'; it’s a city that breathes culture, from the grand architecture of the Cathedral to the vibrant murals tucked away in the Meridiano V neighbourhood. Our workshops tap into this local spirit of innovation and community. We often draw inspiration from the city's unique layout and its rich tradition of public art to help our participants feel connected to their local environment.

Fun Fact: Did you know La Plata was one of the first planned cities in South America? Its perfectly geometric design makes it a dream for artists who love structure—though in our workshops, we're more about breaking the lines and having fun!
