Is the workshop accessible for people with physical disabilities?

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. Whether participants use wheelchairs or have limited mobility, we adapt the workspace and use adjustable easels or horizontal surfaces to ensure everyone can spray comfortably. Our artists are trained to assist with physical movements while making sure the participant remains the primary creator of the artwork. Safety and accessibility are our top priorities in Tucumán.

What should participants wear to the session?

We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'character' (paint) on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and masks, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy when the creativity starts flowing! In the warm Tucumán climate, light, breathable clothing underneath your overalls is usually the best choice for staying comfortable.

Are the paints and materials safe?

We use professional-grade spray paints, but we can also provide low-odour or water-based alternatives upon request for those with sensory sensitivities to smells. Everyone is provided with high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks and nitrile gloves. Your safety and comfort are paramount, and we ensure the workspace is well-ventilated, whether we are working indoors in a large hall or outdoors.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional street artists will guide the group through every single step, from holding the can to creating basic shapes and fill-ins. In Tucumán, we focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection, ensuring everyone feels like a successful artist by the time the session ends.

How long does a typical special needs workshop last?

We usually suggest a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for our special needs programs. We’ve found this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high engagement and energy without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible; if the group needs more frequent breaks or a shorter, high-impact session, we will tailor the schedule to meet your specific requirements.

Where in Tucumán do the workshops take place?

The beauty of graffiti is its flexibility. We can host the workshop at your facility, a local community centre, or an outdoor space in San Miguel de Tucumán. We’re fully mobile and bring all the gear to you. We just need a well-ventilated area and some space to set up our plastic sheeting and canvases. We'll handle all the setup and cleanup!

How does the payment process work?

We don't require any payment upfront. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel confident booking with us. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we've provided for your group. We accept various payment methods for your convenience once the 'masterpiece' is finished.

The experience

Choosing a Graffitifun experience means choosing a program that puts the participant first. Here’s why our special needs sessions in Tucumán are so highly regarded:

Total Inclusivity: We adapt our techniques and tools for every level of physical and cognitive ability. No one is left behind! 🎨
Sensory Engagement: The sound of the can, the vibrant colours, and the physical action of spraying provide a wonderful multi-sensory experience.
Confidence Boost: Seeing a vibrant piece of art appear on a canvas provides an immediate sense of accomplishment and pride. 💪
Professional Support: Our Tucumán-based artists are not just talented creators; they are patient, encouraging, and experienced in working with diverse needs.
Zero Risk: With our "pay after the workshop" policy and backup artist guarantee, your event is in safe hands.
Creative Freedom: There are no mistakes in graffiti—only new directions! This "freedom to fail" is incredibly liberating for participants. ✨

Step by step

Warm welcome and intro: We start by meeting the group and introducing our friendly artists. We explain the plan for the day in an easy-to-follow, upbeat way to get everyone excited. ✨
Safety and gear up: Everyone gets fitted with their protective overalls, gloves, and masks. We make sure everyone feels comfortable and ready to go.
Getting to know the cans: We demonstrate how the spray cans work, showing how to press the nozzle and control the paint flow in a safe, controlled manner. 🎨
First lines and shapes: Participants take their first turns spraying on the canvas, experimenting with different colours and feeling the satisfaction of making a mark.
Developing the design: Guided by our artists, the group starts working on a larger concept, perhaps a communal mural or individual pieces that represent their personalities.
Adding the details: We help participants add "flare" to their work—outlines, highlights, and stars—to make the artwork really pop! 🖌️
Final touches and cleanup: We take a step back to admire the work and tidy up the area while the paint dries.
The grand reveal: A celebratory moment where we take photos of the artists with their incredible creations. It’s all about the smiles and the sense of achievement! 🏆

Local culture

Tucumán, known as the "Garden of the Republic," is a city bursting with history and vibrant energy. From the historic Casa de Tucumán to the lush greenery of Parque 9 de Julio, the city is a canvas of inspiration. The local street art scene here is growing, reflecting the passionate and creative spirit of the Tucumanos. We love bringing our workshops to this historic city, where the warm climate and even warmer people make every session special. 🇦🇷

Fun Fact: Did you know that Tucumán is the smallest province in Argentina, but it has one of the biggest hearts for culture? It’s the perfect place to foster community spirit through inclusive art projects!
