What age group is best suited for these youth projects?

Our youth projects in Tucumán are designed for young people aged 10 to 24. We tailor our teaching style to suit the specific age group, ensuring the younger teens focus on basic shapes and safety, while older participants can dive into complex shading, 3D lettering, and urban art history. It’s all about providing a safe, creative outlet that resonates with where they are in life right now.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls for every participant. Our workshops take place in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially vetted indoor spaces. Plus, our professional instructors are trained to manage group dynamics, ensuring that the spray cans are used responsibly and that everyone follows the safety guidelines while having a blast.

Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our youth projects are built on the idea that everyone has an artist inside them. We start with the very basics—how to hold a can, how to control pressure, and how to draw a straight line. Most participants have never touched street art before, and by the end of the session, they are always amazed at the high-quality mural they’ve helped create.

Where in Tucumán do the workshops take place?

We are flexible! We can host the workshop at your community centre, youth club, or school in Tucumán if there is a suitable wall or space. Alternatively, we have access to various 'legal walls' and creative hubs across the city. We’ll work with you to find the most convenient and inspiring location that fits your group’s needs and transport requirements.

Can the participants take their artwork home?

Depending on the project's goals, the youth can either work together on one massive, collaborative mural that stays as a landmark for the community, or they can work on individual canvases that they get to take home. We find that the collaborative murals are fantastic for team building, while individual pieces allow for more personal expression and a cool souvenir!

How long does a typical youth graffiti session last?

A standard youth project session typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of the masterpiece. For larger community projects or multi-day programmes, we can extend this over several sessions to create something even more substantial and detailed.

How does the payment process work?

We've made it super easy. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date. We believe in the quality of our workshops, so you only pay after the event has successfully taken place. This keeps things stress-free for youth workers and organisers, allowing you to focus on the participants rather than the paperwork. Just get in touch for a custom quote!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth initiative? It's more than just paint on a wall; it's a powerful tool for social development and personal growth. Here’s why our Tucumán sessions are a hit: 🔥

Boosts Confidence: Seeing a large-scale artwork come to life gives young people a massive sense of achievement. 🏆
Promotes Teamwork: You can't paint a mural alone! Participants learn to communicate and collaborate to achieve a shared vision.
Safe Expression: We provide a legal, constructive outlet for energy that might otherwise be channeled into unsanctioned graffiti.
Hands-on Skills: Beyond art, they learn about safety, planning, and focus—skills that translate to any career path. 🛠️
Expert Mentorship: Our artists aren't just pros; they are mentors who speak the language of the street and inspire respect.
Inclusive Fun: Graffiti is a great leveller. It doesn't matter your background; everyone starts with a blank canvas and a full can! ✨

Step by step

The Big Hello: We kick things off with a high-energy intro, meeting the group and discussing the history of street art in Argentina.
Safety First: Every participant gets kitted out with professional masks, gloves, and overalls. Safety is cool, and we make sure everyone knows the rules!
Can Control 101: Our artists demonstrate the "nozzle magic"—learning how different caps and pressure change the lines on the wall.
Sketching the Vision: The group brainstorms themes. Whether it's local Tucumán pride or a message of unity, we get the ideas onto paper first.
The First Spray: Time to hit the wall! Participants start practicing basic shapes and "tags" to get a feel for the medium.
Building the Mural: Under the guidance of our pros, the youth start layering colours and filling in the large-scale design.
Sharpening the Details: We teach techniques like "cutting," highlights, and outlines to make the artwork really pop and look professional.
The Grand Reveal: We step back, drop the cans, and admire the collective masterpiece. It’s a massive confidence booster for everyone involved!
Clean-up & Wrap-up: We ensure the site is tidy and have a final chat about what we’ve learned before heading off.

Local culture

Tucumán, known as "El Jardín de la República," is a city bursting with historical significance and a rapidly growing urban art scene. From the bustling streets near the Plaza Independencia to the creative pockets of Yerba Buena, the energy here is unmistakable. We tap into this local spirit, encouraging youth to draw inspiration from the lush landscapes of the Yungas or the iconic architecture of the Casa Histórica. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Tucumán's street art scene is heavily influenced by its folklore? You'll often find murals that blend modern graffiti styles with traditional northern Argentine motifs—a perfect metaphor for what we teach: respecting roots while looking to the future! 🇦🇷

Our workshops aren't just about painting; they're about connecting with the local identity of Tucumán, giving young residents a sense of ownership over their city's visual landscape.
