Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Absolutely not! Our youth projects in Salta are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to those who already like to sketch. Our professional artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We focus on building confidence and showing participants that with the right techniques, anyone can create an impressive piece of street art. It's all about the journey and having a blast with the spray cans!

Is the paint safe and what protective gear is provided?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to all participants. Our spray paints are selected for their quality and we always conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or large indoor areas. Our instructors are trained to supervise the group closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly while maintaining a fun and secure environment for the youth group.

How long does a typical youth graffiti session last?

A typical youth project workshop in Salta lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a warm-up, technique practice, and the creation of a final masterpiece. If you have specific scheduling needs or want a more intensive multi-day project, we can definitely customise the duration to fit your group's programmatic goals. Just let us know what works best for your schedule!

Where in Salta do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can come to your youth centre, school, or community hub in Salta, provided there is a suitable wall or we can set up our mobile plastic walls. Alternatively, we have access to local creative spots where the group can paint. We’ll coordinate with you to find the most convenient and inspiring location for your specific project.

Do we need to pay for the workshop upfront?

No, we believe in trust and flexibility. You can book your youth project now and only handle the payment after the workshop is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any money changes hands. It’s part of our commitment to providing a stress-free, high-quality service for community organisers and youth leaders in Argentina.

What is the minimum age for participants?

We generally recommend our youth projects for ages 8 and up. This is because the spray cans require a certain amount of finger strength and coordination to operate effectively. For younger groups, we can adapt the workshop using different tools or shorter sessions. We tailor our teaching style to match the age and energy level of the participants to ensure everyone stays engaged.

What is included in the price?

We provide everything! The cost includes all professional-grade spray paint, caps, safety gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the "canvas" (whether that's a wall, boards, or individual canvases). We also bring the expertise of our professional street artists. You just need to bring the energy and some old clothes/shoes just in case, even though we provide protective gear!

Step by step

Introduction & Safety: We start with a high-energy intro, meeting the artists and getting kitted out in professional protective gear.
The Art of the Tag: Youth learn the history of graffiti and move on to creating their first 'tag', the foundation of street art.
Nozzle Control: Participants practice 'can control' – learning how different caps and distances change the lines on the wall.
Sketching the Vision: The group collaborates on a design or works on individual sketches to plan their big piece.
Filling & Fading: Our artists teach the secrets of smooth fills and vibrant colour gradients to make the art pop.
Outlining: This is where the magic happens! We show the kids how to sharpen their work with crisp outlines.
Highlights & Details: Adding those final 3D effects and 'shines' that give the graffiti a professional look.
The Big Reveal: A final group photo with the completed mural to celebrate the collective achievement.
Clean Up & Wrap Up: We pack up the gear, leaving only the incredible memories (and the art!) behind.

Local culture

Salta is world-renowned for its stunning colonial architecture and breathtaking Andean landscapes, but there’s a growing contemporary heartbeat in the city's streets. From the bustling corners near Plaza 9 de Julio to the creative pockets in the San Martín neighbourhood, street art is becoming a vital part of Salta’s visual language. Our youth projects tap into this local energy, encouraging young 'Salteños' to add their own voices to the city's artistic evolution. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know that the word 'Salta' is thought by some to come from the Aymara word 'sagta', meaning 'the beautiful'? We aim to keep that tradition alive by creating beautiful, modern murals with the city's youth! 🏔️

In a city where tradition meets the future, our workshops provide a bridge. We respect the local culture while introducing the modern techniques used by top graffiti artists in Buenos Aires and beyond. It’s a chance for Salta's youth to feel connected to a global movement right from their own backyard.
