Why is graffiti art a good activity for those with special needs?

Graffiti is a physical, sensory, and highly visual medium, making it an incredible outlet for people with special needs. It encourages fine motor skill development through spray control and allows for non-verbal expression of complex emotions. Our San Juan team is trained to adapt the pace and teaching style to ensure everyone feels successful, building confidence and providing a unique sense of accomplishment. Plus, it's just plain fun!

Is the workshop safe for participants with physical disabilities?

Absolutely! Safety is our first priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks. We also use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier to handle and control than standard cans. Every session in San Juan is supervised by professional artists who are experienced in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for participants of all ability levels.

Can you host the workshop at our specific location?

Yes, we can! We are happy to come to your facility, school, or community centre in San Juan to make the experience as accessible as possible. If you prefer to come to us, we have selected several locations that are wheelchair accessible and have appropriate facilities. Just let us know your requirements when booking, and we will ensure the perfect setup for your group.

How long does a typical session last?

We usually recommend a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for our special needs programs. This timeframe is perfect for maintaining engagement without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible! If your group needs a slower pace with more frequent breaks, or a shorter, more intense session, we can tailor the schedule to fit your specific needs and energy levels.

Do participants need any prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the very basics—how to hold the can, how to move your arm, and how to create simple shapes. Our 'no-pressure' approach means there is no right or wrong way to make art. We focus on the Joy of creation and the sensory experience of the paint, rather than technical perfection.

How do I book a workshop and what are the payment terms?

Booking is simple and stress-free. You can use our online Cost Calculator for an instant estimate, or simply send us a message with your group size and any specific requirements. We don't require upfront payments; you can pay after the workshop is completed. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations.

Local culture

San Juan is a city known for its resilience and its stunning landscapes, from the shadows of the Andes to the vibrant streets of the city centre. The local art scene here is growing, and we are proud to bring an inclusive edge to it. Did you know? San Juan is famously known as the "Land of the Sun", and it's that bright, energetic spirit we bring into every workshop we host. ☀️

We take inspiration from the incredible murals found in the capital, translating those big city vibes into accessible activities for our local community. Whether we are hosting a session near the Plaza 25 de Mayo or bringing the spray cans to a local community centre, we celebrate the unique "Sanjuanino" spirit of togetherness and creativity. Our workshops aren't just about paint; they are about connecting with the local culture in a way that includes everyone. 🇦🇷
