Is this graffiti workshop really suitable for all types of disabilities?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, we specialise in adapting our techniques. We provide smaller cans that are easier to grip, low-pressure nozzles for better control, and various stencil options. Our artists are trained to offer as much or as little assistance as needed, ensuring everyone in Santa Fe can express themselves regardless of their physical or cognitive requirements. Safety and enjoyment are our bread and butter.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'character' on! While we provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and masks, a stray mist of spray paint can sometimes find its way onto sleeves or trousers. It’s all part of the authentic Santa Fe street art experience, letting you focus entirely on the creative process without worrying about your laundry.

How do you ensure the safety of the participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We use high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary protective gear, including FFP2 masks and gloves. Our instructors are experienced in managing groups with diverse needs and ensure a supervised, secure environment. In Santa Fe, we select locations with plenty of ventilation and space to move around, making sure the atmosphere remains relaxed and safe for everyone involved.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

While we often work at vibrant outdoor locations near the Santa Fe riverfront, we always have accessible indoor backup options available. This ensures that the workshop can go ahead regardless of the Argentine weather. Our indoor spaces are fully ventilated and chosen specifically for their accessibility, so the creative flow never has to stop just because of a bit of rain or wind.

Can you bring the workshop to our specific location in Santa Fe?

We are totally flexible! We can host the session at one of our pre-approved accessible street art spots in Santa Fe, or we can bring the entire graffiti studio to you. If your centre or school has a suitable outdoor area or a well-ventilated hall, our team will set up protective floor coverings and boards to transform your space into a temporary urban art gallery.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the basics—how to hold the can, how to control the spray, and how to create simple shapes. Our Santa Fe artists guide participants through every step. We focus on the joy of creation and the sensory experience rather than technical perfection, making it a stress-free and rewarding activity for everyone.

Sensory-rich experience: The colours, the textures, and the process provide a wonderful tactile and visual stimulation.

Step by step

Warm welcome and intro: Meet your professional artist at the Santa Fe location. We start with a relaxed chat to get everyone comfortable with the environment and the tools. ✨
Design brainstorming: We move to the sketching phase. Using paper or tablets, participants can visualize their ideas. Our artists help translate these thoughts into spray-paintable designs.
Safety first: Everyone gets fitted with their protective gear. We explain how to use the masks and gloves, ensuring everybody feels secure before touching a spray can.
The first spray: We head to the wall or canvas. Participants start with a 'practice run' to get a feel for the pressure of the nozzle and the flow of the paint. 🎨
Filling in the colour: Once the outlines are set, it's time for the most satisfying part—filling in the vibrant colours! We use various techniques to make this accessible for all motor skill levels.
Adding the details: With some help from our pros, we add highlights, shadows, and those final 'pops' that make the artwork truly stand out. 🏆
Group masterpiece reveal: We step back to admire the collective work. It’s a moment of immense pride and a fantastic photo opportunity for the whole group.
Clean up and wrap up: We handle all the messy bits! Participants can take their individual canvases home or leave a lasting legacy on a community wall in Santa Fe.
