Can live painting be done indoors at a venue in Medellin?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paints and markers designed for minimal odour where necessary, or we can set up ventilated stations. Our artists are used to working in diverse environments, from sleek hotel ballrooms in El Poblado to outdoor terraces. We provide floor protection and screens to ensure the only thing getting painted is the masterpiece itself. The spectacle is always clean, professional, and safe for your guests.

How long does a live painting session usually last?

The timeline is completely flexible and tailored to your event schedule. Most live painting performances in Medellin last between 2 and 5 hours, but we can also facilitate multi-day murals for larger conferences or festivals. We work with you to ensure the big 'reveal' of the finished artwork happens at the perfect peak moment of your event for maximum emotional impact.

Is it possible for guests to participate in the painting?

We love it when the audience gets involved! Depending on your preference, we can offer 'interactive live painting' where guests are invited to add a few strokes or spray their own tags under the expert guidance of our artists. It is a fantastic way to break the ice and make the attendees feel like they are part of the creative process. Just let us know if you want it interactive!

What happens to the artwork after the event ends?

Yes, the finished artwork is yours to keep! It serves as a permanent memento of the occasion. Many of our Medellin clients choose to hang the final canvas in their corporate offices, auction it off for charity, or give it as a unique gift to a VIP guest. We can even paint on mobile panels that are easy to transport and install elsewhere after the party ends.

What materials are included in the live painting service?

Everything! We provide the professional artists, canvases or painting surfaces, all premium spray paints, markers, drop cloths, and protective gear. You just need to provide the space and the crowd. We also handle the full setup and pack-down, leaving the venue exactly as we found it—except for the stunning new piece of art we've created for you!

How far in advance do I need to book a performance?

While we usually need about 2-4 weeks' notice to ensure your preferred artist is available, we know that event planning can be hectic. Thanks to our large network of backup artists across Colombia, we can often accommodate last-minute bookings. If you have an event coming up soon in Medellin, get in touch immediately and we will do our absolute best to make it happen!

Step by step

Initial creative chat: We start by discussing your vision, the event vibe, and any specific branding or themes you want the artist to incorporate into the live mural.
Artist selection: We match your event with the perfect Medellin graffiti artist whose style aligns with your specific aesthetic, whether it’s abstract, portraiture, or classic street lettering.
Design mockup: Our artist creates a rough sketch or concept board so you can see the direction of the piece before a single drop of paint hits the canvas.
On-site setup: On the day, we arrive early to prepare the 'stage.' We lay down protective flooring and set up the canvas or wall panels to ensure a mess-free zone.
The performance: As your guests arrive, the artist begins. Witnessing the transformation from a blank surface to a vibrant work of art creates a magnetic pull for the audience.
Guest engagement: Throughout the session, the artist interacts with guests, explaining techniques and sharing the story behind the piece.
The grand reveal: We time the completion of the artwork to coincide with your event's climax, ensuring a high-energy finish.
Drying and finishing: We apply any necessary fixatives to ensure the art is durable and ready for its permanent home.
Handover: The masterpiece is officially yours! We can help with advice on mounting or transporting the finished work.
