Do I need any prior drawing or painting experience?

Absolutely! Most of our workshop participants in Dodoma have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques like shading and highlighting. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. Our goal is to make art accessible and fun for everyone, regardless of their artistic background.

What materials are included in the onboarding workshop?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes high-quality spray paint in a vibrant array of colours, protective masks, gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the 'canvas'—whether that's a professional plastic film wall or individual boards. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty, and we’ll handle the rest!

Is the graffiti workshop safe? What about the fumes?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 masks to ensure no one breathes in fumes, along with gloves and protective suits. Our workshops are ideally held in well-ventilated or outdoor spaces to ensure fresh air circulation. Our artists are trained professionals who supervise the entire process, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and safely. We make sure the environment is controlled, creative, and completely secure for all participants.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard graffiti onboarding session in Dodoma usually lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the creation of a final collaborative or individual piece. We can also customise the duration to fit your specific schedule—whether you want a quick 'energiser' session or a deep-dive creative masterclass. Just let us know your timeframe!

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops for small teams of 10 people or large-scale corporate onboarding events for hundreds. For very large groups, we bring in multiple artists and set up several 'graffiti zones' to ensure everyone gets hands-on time and personal guidance. No matter the size of your group, we have the logistical expertise and the artistic talent to make sure the event runs smoothly and everyone feels included.

Can the workshop be held at our own office or venue?

Yes, we can! While we have several preferred outdoor and semi-outdoor locations around Dodoma, we are fully mobile. If you have a suitable space at your office, a local warehouse, or an outdoor courtyard, we can bring the entire workshop to you. We use protective floor coverings and temporary wall structures to ensure your venue stays clean while we create. We love transforming ordinary office spaces into temporary street art galleries!

What is your cancellation and payment policy?

We understand that plans can change. That's why we don't require any upfront payment when you book. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. Additionally, we have a pool of backup artists ready to step in, so you never have to worry about a cancellation on our end. This 'no-stress' approach allows you to focus on the fun part—organising your team for an unforgettable creative experience.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Dodoma is a city in transition, quickly evolving from a quiet administrative hub into a vibrant centre of Tanzanian culture. While Dar es Salaam might have the coastal hustle, Dodoma offers a unique, spacious canvas that is perfect for large-scale creative projects. The legendary "Gogo" culture of the region brings a sense of community and rhythm that we love to incorporate into our workshops. 🎨

In recent years, the street art scene in Tanzania has exploded, and Dodoma is starting to see its own splashes of colour on urban walls. Our workshops tap into this modern energy, giving your team a chance to contribute to the city's evolving visual landscape. Whether we're setting up near the iconic Parliament buildings or at a private local venue, the atmosphere is always electric.

Fun Fact: Did you know Dodoma was designed to be a "garden city"? Its wide boulevards and open spaces make it one of the best locations in East Africa for outdoor graffiti sessions with plenty of natural light and fresh air! ✨
