Do we need any previous art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most of our participants in Dodoma have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists are expert teachers who break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your team develops their 'street cred' and creates something they are genuinely proud of.

Is the spray paint safe to use for a corporate group?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paint and conduct our workshops in well-ventilated areas. Our instructors provide a full safety briefing before anyone picks up a can, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and secure throughout the entire creative process.

Where in Dodoma do the team building workshops take place?

We are highly flexible! We can host the event at a dedicated street art location in Dodoma, or if you have a suitable outdoor space or a very well-ventilated indoor area at your office or hotel, we can bring the workshop to you. We take care of all the floor and wall protection to ensure we leave the venue exactly as we found it.

How long does a typical graffiti team building session last?

A standard team building session usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for the introduction, technique practice, and the final collaborative masterpiece. However, we can easily adapt the schedule if you have a tighter window during a conference or if you want to turn it into an all-day creative retreat. Just let us know your schedule!

What is the booking process and do we pay upfront?

Booking is easy and risk-free. You don't have to pay anything upfront! Simply reach out to us with your preferred date and group size. We will confirm the availability of our artists and send you a quote. You only pay after the workshop has been completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We also have backup artists ready to ensure your event never gets cancelled.

Can we incorporate our company logo into the graffiti mural?

Yes, definitely! We love it when teams bring their own brand identity into the mix. We can prepare stencils of your company logo or help you design a piece that reflects your corporate values and mission. It’s a fantastic way to reinforce company culture while giving your team a sense of ownership over the final artwork created during the day.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor workshop?

While we love the Tanzanian sunshine, we always have a Plan B. If the weather doesn't play ball, we can move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with appropriate ventilation and protection. Because we have a large network of artists, we can be flexible with timing and locations to ensure your team building event goes ahead regardless of the weather.

Step by step

The warm-up: Your team meets our professional graffiti artists at the chosen Dodoma location for a quick intro and safety briefing. ✨
Sketching the vision: We brainstorm ideas together, ensuring your company values or specific themes are incorporated into the design.
Learning the tools: Use our Tag Creator tool or get hands-on as we teach you can control, nozzle types, and different spraying distances.
Outline and fill: The group is divided into smaller teams to tackle different sections of the mural, fostering communication and coordination. 🎨
Adding the 'pop': Learn professional tricks like fades, highlights, and 3D effects to make your team's artwork stand out.
The finishing touch: Our artists help you refine the sharp edges and details to ensure a high-quality finished product. 🔥
The big reveal: Step back and admire the massive, colourful masterpiece your group has created together!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Dodoma is a city uniquely positioned between tradition and its growing status as the political heart of Tanzania. While it has a more relaxed pace than Dar es Salaam, the creative energy here is rising. Our graffiti team building in Dodoma taps into this burgeoning urban culture, offering an activity that feels modern, fresh, and distinctly local. We often draw inspiration from the beautiful landscape surrounding the city, including the iconic Lion Rock (Simba Hill), blending these local landmarks with contemporary street art styles.

Fun Fact: Did you know Dodoma was designed to be a "garden city"? Its wide-open spaces and unique architecture provide the perfect backdrop for outdoor creative workshops!

By bringing your team out into the fresh air of the capital, you aren't just doing an activity; you're connecting with the changing face of Tanzanian urban art. It's a fantastic way to show your staff that your company is forward-thinking and supportive of the local creative community. 🇹🇿
