Is the spray paint safe for primary school children?

Safety is our absolute priority! We provide high-quality protective gear for every child, including face masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep school uniforms clean. We also use low-odour spray paint specifically designed for use in workshops. Our professional instructors are experts at managing groups of primary-age children, ensuring the environment remains controlled, artistic, and entirely safe while they unleash their inner street artists. Everyone goes home with a smile and clean clothes!

Do you teach the kids about the history and rules of street art?

Absolutely! We aren't just here to paint; we're here to share the rich culture of street art. Our artists begin every session with a bite-sized, age-appropriate history of graffiti, explaining how it evolved from simple tags into massive murals. We discuss the difference between illegal vandalism and constructive street art, teaching the children that creativity is most powerful when it's done with respect for the community and local surroundings.

Does the school need to provide any art materials?

Not at all! We provide everything required for a successful day of art. This includes all the premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gear for every student, and the boards or canvases they will be painting on. The only thing the school needs to provide is an outdoor or well-ventilated space (like the playground) and a group of excited kids ready to have a blast.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard workshop for primary schools usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for keeping younger children engaged without them losing focus. During this session, they will learn the basics, practice their technique, and complete their very own masterpiece. We can also run multiple sessions back-to-back if you want the whole school to participate over the course of a day.

What if a student isn't 'good' at drawing or art?

No artistic talent is required! Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and encouraging for every child, regardless of their skill level. Our artists guide the students step-by-step, showing them simple techniques that produce impressive results. It’s all about the experience, building confidence, and having fun with colour. We guarantee that every child will feel proud of what they’ve created by the end of the workshop.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

We are incredibly flexible! If the weather takes a turn, we can often move the workshop to a well-ventilated indoor space like a sports hall or large shed, or we can simply reschedule to a better day. Since we have a team of backup artists, we are very reliable and rarely have to cancel. We’ll work closely with your school staff in Annaba to ensure the workshop goes ahead smoothly.

How do we get a quote and book a date?

Booking is easy! Since every school has different needs regarding student numbers and duration, we provide bespoke quotes. Simply reach out to us via our contact form with your estimated group size. You don't need to pay anything upfront – you pay after the workshop is complete. We’ll help you calculate the costs and find a date that fits your school calendar perfectly.

Local culture

Annaba, with its stunning Mediterranean coastline and the historic beauty of the Hippo Regius, is a city that breathes inspiration. From the bustling streets near the Cours de la Révolution to the quiet hills of Seraïdi, there is a pulse of creativity everywhere. Our workshops aim to tap into this local spirit, encouraging Annaba's youngest residents to contribute their own modern voices to the city’s artistic heritage. Street art is a global language, and we love seeing how the local culture of 'The City of Jujubes' influences the vibrant colours and shapes the children choose.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Annaba is one of the oldest cities in Algeria? Bringing a modern art form like graffiti to a city with such deep history creates a wonderful bridge between the past and the future for school children! 🎨
