Is graffiti art safe for primary school children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, water-based spray paints whenever possible for younger students, and everyone is geared up with high-quality protective suits, gloves, and masks. Our professional artists are expert facilitators who maintain a structured, safe environment while ensuring the kids have the time of their lives. We handle the setup and the cleanup, so you can focus on the pedagogical benefits and the fun.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

Our primary school workshops in Setif typically last between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high energy and focus levels in younger children. We start with a brief, engaging history of street art, move into technique practice, and spend the bulk of the time on the main creative projects. We can always adjust the schedule to fit into your specific school timetable or morning/afternoon blocks.

What materials do we need to provide for the workshop?

The best part? You don't need to provide a thing! Graffitifun brings the entire studio to your school gates. This includes all premium spray cans, protective gear (suits, gloves, masks), practice boards or canvases, and cleaning supplies. We even bring plastic sheeting to protect the school floors or walls if we are working indoors. Just give us a space to create, and we handle the rest from A to Z.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Don't worry about the weather! While we love working outside in the fresh air of Setif, we are fully prepared for rainy days. We can set up our mobile 'fume-free' stations in a school gym, large hall, or even a covered playground area. We use heavy-duty floor coverings to ensure the school property remains spotless. The creativity doesn't stop just because the sun isn't shining!

Do the students need to have prior drawing or painting skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist-mentors break down the complex world of graffiti into easy, bite-sized steps that any primary-age student can follow. We focus on basic shapes, 'fat caps' vs 'skinny caps', and simple colour blending. It’s all about building confidence and showing the kids that they are all capable of creating something visually stunning, regardless of their prior artistic experience.

How do payments work for schools? Do we pay in advance?

We take care of our schools! One of our standout features is that we require no upfront payment. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. This takes the financial risk away from the school and allows you to book with total peace of mind. We believe in our service, and we want you to feel confident too.

Can we choose a specific theme for the graffiti artwork?

Definitely! We love it when schools want to link the art to their current curriculum. Whether you're studying the environment, history, or 'community', we can tailor the final mural or individual pieces to reflect these themes. Just let us know your ideas during the booking process, and our artists will incorporate those elements into the workshop design to make the learning experience even more impactful for the kids.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your primary school in Setif? It's more than just painting on walls—it's about building confidence, teamwork, and a brand-new perspective on what 'art' can be. Here is why we are the top choice for schools:

Boosts Creative Confidence: Many kids who struggle with traditional drawing find spray painting intuitive and liberating. ✨
Promotes Teamwork: Working on a large-scale mural encourages students to communicate and collaborate to reach a common goal. 🤝
Curriculum Aligned: Our sessions can be linked to Art, History, and Social Studies, making it a truly holistic educational experience. 📖
100% Satisfaction: We don't leave until the kids are beaming and you are thrilled with the results. Fun is our guarantee! 🎉
Stress-Free for Teachers: We handle the setup, the instruction, the materials, and the cleanup. You get to sit back and enjoy the creative buzz. ☕
Professional Mentorship: Our artists aren't just great painters; they are experienced educators who know how to engage and inspire young children. 🏆

Step by step

Introduction & History: Our artists arrive at your Setif school and kick things off with a high-energy intro to the world of street art, explaining how it evolved from tags to massive murals.
Safety Briefing: Safety first! We suit up every student in protective gear and explain the 'golden rules' of using spray cans responsibly and creatively.
The Masterclass: Students learn the 'how-to' of the can—controlling the pressure, creating clean lines, and understanding different nozzle types (caps).
Sketching Ideas: Before the paint flies, kids grab markers to sketch their designs on paper, focusing on the theme of the day, whether it's their name or a school value.
Practice Rounds: In small groups, students hit the boards to practice their first 'fills' and 'outlines' under the watchful eye of our pros.
The Main Event: This is where the magic happens! Depending on your choice, kids work on individual canvases to take home or collaborate on a giant school mural.
Final Details: Our artists help the kids add those 'pops'—highlights and 3D effects that make their artwork jump off the surface.
The Big Reveal & Photos: We host a mini-gallery walk so everyone can admire each other's work. It's the perfect time for group photos and proud smiles!

Local culture

Setif is a city that pulsates with a mix of ancient history and modern energy. From the Roman ruins of Djemila nearby to the bustling urban vibe around the Ain El Fouara Fountain, there is inspiration everywhere! We find that students in Setif have a unique creative spark, blending traditional cultural motifs with the modern aesthetic of urban street art. Our workshops provide a platform for this 'Sétifien' spirit to shine through in every spray. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Setif is often called the "City of the Fountains"? Just like the water that flows through the city, we believe creativity should flow freely through every classroom! ⛲

Whether your school is located near the university districts or in the quieter residential suburbs, our mobile team brings the excitement of an international art gallery directly to your students. We love contributing to the local art culture and helping the next generation of Algerian artists find their unique voice.
