Is the spray paint safe for primary school children?

Safety is our absolute priority. We use low-odour, water-based spray paints whenever possible for younger children, and we provide all necessary protective gear, including gloves, masks, and aprons. Our professional artists are highly experienced in managing large groups of primary school children, ensuring everyone follows safety protocols while having a blast. We maintain a controlled environment where creativity can flourish without any risks to the students' well-being.

Do the students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, especially beginners. Our artists start with a demonstration of basic techniques, such as how to hold the can and control the pressure. We guide the kids step-by-step through the process, from sketching their ideas to adding the final highlights. You'll be amazed at how quickly primary schoolers pick up these skills and create something they are truly proud of.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

Our standard primary school workshops in Constantine typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction, a safety briefing, the hands-on painting session, and a final group photo with the completed masterpiece. We can also adapt the schedule to fit into your school's specific timetable or split the workshop into multiple smaller sessions for different classes throughout the day.

What materials does Graffitifun provide?

We provide everything! Your school doesn't need to worry about a thing. We bring high-quality spray cans in a vibrant range of colours, protective masks, gloves, disposable aprons, and the 'canvas' (which could be large wooden boards, a plastic wrap wall, or even a designated school wall). We also handle the full setup and complete cleanup afterwards, leaving your school grounds exactly as we found them—just a lot more colourful!

Can we choose a specific theme for the mural?

Absolutely! Many schools in Constantine choose a theme that aligns with their current curriculum, such as environmental awareness, local history, or school values like 'respect' and 'teamwork'. Our artists can help the children translate these concepts into visual street art. It’s a fantastic way to reinforce classroom learning through a physical, creative medium that kids will remember for years to come.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

We are very flexible. While we love working outdoors to get that authentic street art feel, we have systems in place for indoor sessions if the weather in Constantine doesn't cooperate. We use heavy-duty floor coverings and specialise in indoor-safe techniques to ensure your school hall remains spotless. Regardless of the location, we ensure adequate ventilation and a safe creative space for every student involved.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

While we don't have a strict minimum, we've found that groups of 15 or more offer the best collaborative experience for primary schools. For very large groups, such as an entire year group, we can bring in multiple artists to ensure every child gets personal attention and plenty of time with the spray cans. We’re experts at managing logistics for large-scale school events!
