Is the paint safe for primary school children?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our spray paints are low-odour and comply with all safety regulations for use by children. Additionally, our professional artists are trained to supervise large groups of primary school students, ensuring everyone follows the safety guidelines while having an absolute blast. Parents and teachers can rest easy knowing the kids are in expert hands.

Where do the workshops usually take place in Presov? outdoor or indoor?

We are flexible! If you have a suitable outdoor wall or a large ventilated space at your school in Presov, we can come to you. Alternatively, we can arrange for the workshop to take place at one of the city's legal graffiti spots or an inspiring local gallery space. We handle all the logistics and setup, so you just need to ensure the kids are ready for some creative fun.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

A typical primary school workshop in Presov lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a safety demo, practice sessions, and the final creation of a masterpiece. We can easily adjust the timing to fit your specific school timetable or after-school activity slots without rushing the creative process.

Can we choose a specific theme for the mural?

Absolutely! We can tailor the theme to match your current curriculum. Whether it is an environmental project, a celebration of Presov's history, or a focus on teamwork and kindness, we can design the workshop around it. This makes the session not only fun but also a valuable educational experience that reinforces what the students are learning in the classroom through a hands-on medium.

Do the kids need to have prior artistic skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for beginners. Our expert artists guide the students through every step, starting with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques. We believe everyone has a hidden artist inside them, and our goal is to help your students find theirs in a supportive, non-judgmental, and high-energy environment. No previous experience is required!

What is the ideal group size for a school event?

We recommend groups of at least 15 students to get the best atmosphere and pricing, but we can accommodate entire year groups. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we can scale the workshop sizes while maintaining a safe student-to-artist ratio. This ensures every child gets individual attention and guidance throughout their spray-painting journey.

What should students wear to the graffiti workshop?

Wear old clothes and shoes! While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy. It is best if the kids come in something you do not mind getting a stray spot of colour on. We provide everything else, including masks, paint, and canvases. Just bring your energy, your imagination, and a camera to capture the memories!

Safety briefing: Students are kitted out in protective gear and taught how to handle spray cans responsibly.
Sketching ideas: Kids grab paper and pencils to brainstorm their tags and designs before hitting the wall.
Can control basics: Our artists show the kids how to create thin lines, fat caps, and smooth fades.
Creating the masterpiece: The students work together or individually to apply their designs to the chosen surface.
Adding the details: We teach them how to add highlights, shadows, and outlines to make their work pop.
Final reveal: The group steps back to admire their huge, colourful collaboration!
Clean up and photos: We tidy up the site and take high-quality photos of the students with their artwork.

Local culture

Presov is a city known for its rich history and university vibe, but beneath the classic architecture lies a growing appreciation for urban culture. Our workshops thrive in this environment, drawing inspiration from the local "Street Art Presov" initiatives that have started transforming grey walls into vibrant landmarks. We love taking students to local legal spots or bringing that local flair into the schoolyard. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Presov is often called the "Athens of the North" because of its many educational institutions? We’re just here to make sure the arts department gets a little more colourful! 🔥

If you're looking for other cool spots in Slovakia, we also rock the walls in Bratislava and Kosice!
