Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Absolutely! Our youth project workshops in Prešov are specifically designed for beginners. Our professional street artists start with the basics—safety, nozzle control, and simple lines—before moving on to more complex designs. We provide all the guidance needed so that every participant, regardless of their artistic background, walks away with a piece of art they are truly proud of. It's all about discovery and having fun!

Is the workshop safe for teenagers and young adults?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and overall suits to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are experienced professionals who provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use low-pressure cans which are easier to control, ensuring a secure and enjoyable environment for youth groups throughout the entire session here in Prešov.

How long does a typical youth graffiti session last?

We are very flexible! A standard youth project workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for the introduction, sketching, practicing techniques, and completing a final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or a larger community event in Prešov, we can adapt the timing to fit your needs perfectly. Just let us know your requirements!

Where in Prešov do the workshops take place?

We usually host our workshops at vibrant outdoor locations or legal graffiti walls in Prešov to give participants an original street art experience. However, if you have a specific venue in mind—like a youth centre, school yard, or community hub—we can come to you! We just need a well-ventilated space and permission to paint. We'll handle the protective floor coverings and setup.

What materials are provided in the workshop package?

Everything is included! When you book a youth project with Graffitifun, we bring all the professional spray cans in a wide variety of colours, caps (nozzles), protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the canvases or boards to paint on. You don't need to worry about a thing—just bring your energy and creativity, and we will take care of the rest of the logistics.

What is the maximum group size for a youth project?

We are quite versatile! We can host small groups or large-scale community youth events. For very large groups, we bring in additional backup artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and guidance. Whether you are a small local youth club or a large regional organisation in Prešov, we have the staff and equipment to make your project a massive success.

How do we book and when do we pay?

Booking is easy and risk-free. You can start by using our Cost Calculator or Tag Creator online to get ideas. Once you're ready, contact us to reserve your date. The best part? There is no upfront payment required! You can pay after the workshop is completed. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations.

The experience

Why choose a Graffitifun project for your youth group in Prešov? Because we make art accessible, energetic, and totally "cool"! Our workshops are designed to break down barriers and get everyone involved. Here’s why we’re the top choice: ✨

Professional street artists: Learn from the best! Our instructors aren't just teachers; they are active graffiti artists who live the culture. 🎤
Total creative freedom: We don't just tell you what to paint—we help you bring your own visions to life while teaching the right techniques.
Confidence booster: There’s nothing like seeing a huge piece of art you created yourself to build self-esteem and pride. 🏆
Stress-free booking: With backup artists on call and no upfront payment, your event is guaranteed to go ahead as planned.
Social impact: These projects transform public spaces and give young people a sense of ownership in their local Prešov community.

Step by step

Introduction & safety: We kick things off with a warm welcome and a breakdown of the safety rules to keep everyone protected while they paint.
The basics of spray art: Our pros demonstrate how to hold the can, how to swap nozzles (caps), and how to control pressure for different effects.
Sketching the vision: Participants grab markers and paper to sketch out their ideas, focusing on letter structure, characters, or abstract shapes.
First lines: It’s time to head to the wall! Everyone starts by 'tagging' their name and practicing basic outlines on their designated space.
Filling in the colour: We teach the youth how to fill their designs smoothly, using gradients and colour fades to make the artwork pop.
Sharpening the edges: This is where the magic happens—we show how to 'cut' the lines and add clean outlines for a professional finish.
Adding details: Highlights, shadows, and 3D effects are added to give the graffiti depth and character.
Group masterpiece: Depending on the project, we often finish with a collaborative mural that represents the group's collective identity.
Photos & cleanup: We wrap up with a professional photo session of the artwork and a quick cleanup of the area, leaving only the art behind!

Local culture

Prešov, the "Athens of the Torysa," is a city that beautifully blends historic charm with a thriving modern student life. From the iconic Hlavná ulica to the hidden courtyards of the old town, there is inspiration around every corner. We love bringing our workshops here because the local youth have an incredible appetite for self-expression. We often hold our sessions near student hubs or accessible urban spots that reflect the city's gritty yet artistic character. 🏰

Fun Fact: Did you know that Prešov is home to a vibrant alternative music and arts scene? Our graffiti workshops fit perfectly into this "Salt City" culture, offering a visual voice to the next generation of Slovak talent.
