How long does a typical graffiti workshop for youth last?

Most of our youth projects in Martin last between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe is perfect for a deep dive into the culture, time to practice the techniques, and enough space to finish a collaborative mural or individual canvas. If you have a specific schedule for a youth camp or community day, we can adapt the duration to fit your programme perfectly. We focus on quality over rushing!

Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our professional instructors supervise every spray, ensuring that the cans are used correctly. We use low-pressure spray paint which is much easier for beginners to control, making it a safe, fun, and educational environment for all participants.

Do the participants need any previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the basics—how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to create simple lines. Our artists guide the group through every step, from sketching to the final highlight. By the end of the session, even those who thought they weren't 'artistic' are usually amazed by what they have created.

Where in Martin do the workshops take place?

We are flexible! We can host the workshop at a legal graffiti wall in Martin, or we can bring the experience to you. If your youth centre has an outdoor space, we can set up mobile wooden panels or use large canvases. We make sure to protect the surrounding area so there is no unwanted mess. Just let us know your location preferences, and we will make it happen.

What materials are included in the youth project package?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint in a wide range of vibrant colours, caps/nozzles for different effects, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the surfaces to paint on. You don't need to bring a single thing except your enthusiasm and some old clothes just in case. We take care of the setup and the cleanup so you can focus on the art.

What are the benefits of graffiti for young people?

Graffiti is an incredible tool for youth development. It encourages self-expression, builds confidence, and teaches patience and focus. In a group setting, it’s a fantastic way to improve teamwork, as participants often have to collaborate on a large-scale piece. It also provides a constructive outlet for energy and creativity, showing young people how to transform an idea into a tangible, impressive work of art.

Local culture

Martin is a city with a deep cultural soul, famously known as the centre of Slovak national identity. But it's not just about history books and museums! We love bringing a modern, urban contrast to this beautiful city nestled under the Malá Fatra mountains. From the residential areas to the community hubs near the University, there is a growing appetite for contemporary street art that reflects the voice of the youth.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Martin was the site of the 1861 Memorandum of the Slovak Nation? We like to think that through our workshops, the youth of Martin are creating their own "creative memorandum" on the walls today! 🎨

Pricing

Our graffiti youth projects in Martin are designed to be accessible and high-impact. Pricing typically ranges from €15 to €35 per person, depending on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and the materials required (like custom canvases or large-scale wooden panels).

Because every youth group has different needs and budgets, we prefer to give you a tailored price that fits your project perfectly. No hidden fees, and no upfront payment required—you only pay once the creative fun is done!
