What exactly is live painting and how does it work?

Live painting is a dynamic performance where our artists create a large-scale graffiti piece or mural right in front of your guests. Unlike a finished painting, the magic lies in the process. It serves as both entertainment and decor, evolving throughout your event in Martin. It’s perfect for keeping people engaged and providing a fantastic photo backdrop for social media sharing.

Is it messy or smelly for indoor events in Martin?

Not at all! We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and can even set up specialised extraction systems or use water-based markers if the venue is indoors. We take care of all floor and wall protection with heavy-duty plastic sheeting. Whether your event is at a local Martin hotel or a modern office space, we ensure the venue stays spotless and safe.

How long does a live painting session typically last?

The beauty of live painting is its flexibility. A standard performance usually lasts between 2 and 4 hours to match the flow of your event, but we can extend this for full-day festivals or multi-day conferences. We work with you to time the 'big reveal' of the finished artwork with your event’s climax or keynote speech for maximum impact.

Can we choose what the artist paints?

Absolutely! While the artist brings their unique flair, the content is entirely up to you. We can integrate your company logo, event themes, specific colour palettes, or even local Martin landmarks. Before the event, we’ll discuss a rough sketch or concept to ensure the final masterpiece aligns perfectly with your brand identity or party theme.

What equipment do you need from our side?

We are fully mobile and bring everything needed! This includes high-quality spray cans, caps, protective floor coverings, and the canvas or wooden hoarding itself. We also provide our own lighting if the venue is a bit dim. All we need from you is a designated space and a flat surface to set up our mobile studio. We handle the setup and cleanup.

What happens to the artwork once the event is over?

The final artwork is yours to keep! Many of our clients in Martin choose to display the finished canvas in their office lobby, breakroom, or even auction it off for charity. If you don’t have space for it, just let us know, and we can arrange for the disposal or recycling of the materials after the event has concluded.

Is live painting safe for guests and children?

Safety is our top priority. Our artists are experienced professionals who follow strict safety protocols. We use high-quality respirators when necessary and ensure proper ventilation. If kids are around, we set up a safety perimeter so they can watch the magic happen from a safe distance while enjoying the creative process without any risk.

Design concept: Our artists create a digital mockup or a rough sketch incorporating your logos, colours, or themes.
Site prep: On the event day, we arrive early to lay down protective flooring and set up our professional mobile canvases.
The performance begins: As your guests arrive, the artist starts the first layers, drawing people in with the "blank canvas" mystery.
Dynamic evolution: Throughout the event, the artwork grows. Guests can interact with the artist and watch the techniques up close.
The final reveal: The piece is completed, often timed with a specific highlight of your programme for a "wow" moment.
