How long does a typical pop-up graffiti session last?

The workshop itself usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. For a pop-up event in Martin, we typically arrive an hour early to set up and stay for a bit afterwards to help with photos and cleanup. We can work around your event schedule to ensure the graffiti experience fits perfectly into your timeline without feeling rushed.

Is the spray paint safe for beginners to use?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paints that are safe for outdoor use, and we provide all necessary protective gear, including gloves and masks. Our professional artists are always on hand to supervise and ensure everyone is using the equipment correctly. Safety is our top priority, ensuring the only thing you have to worry about is being creative.

Do I need to have any prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our pop-up events are designed for everyone, from those who have never held a spray can to experienced artists. Our instructors will guide you through the basics, starting with simple lines and moving up to more complex shapes. You'll be surprised at how quickly you can create something impressive under our professional guidance.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything! This includes premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective masks, gloves, and the surfaces we’ll be painting on (usually high-quality canvases or mobile walls). We also bring along cap cleaners and inspiration boards to help get your creative juices flowing from the moment you arrive.

Where in Martin does the pop-up event take place?

Since we need a bit of space for our mobile walls and proper ventilation for the spray paint, we typically host these in outdoor spaces or well-ventilated semi-covered areas. If you have a specific venue in mind in Martin, we can check it out to make sure it's suitable, or we can suggest some great local spots.

What should I wear to the graffiti workshop?

We recommend wearing 'art clothes' – basically anything you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide protective gear, spray paint can be unpredictable! Flat, comfortable shoes are also a must since you'll be standing and moving around while you create your masterpiece. Leave the designer gear at home for this one!

What happens if the number of participants changes?

We are incredibly flexible. If your numbers change, just let us know at least a few days in advance so we can adjust the materials. We also have backup artists available, so even if our lead instructor gets sick, your event in Martin will still go ahead as planned. We’re all about making it stress-free for you.

Concept sketching: Grab a marker and paper to map out your ideas before we take them to the "wall."
Can control 101: Learn how to hold the spray can, adjust the pressure, and switch nozzles (caps) for different effects.
Outline your vision: Start by sketching your design onto the canvas using light-coloured paint to get your proportions right.
Fill it in: This is the fun part! Use bold colours to fill your shapes, learning blending techniques as you go.
The sharp edge: Add shadows and highlights to make your graffiti "pop" and look three-dimensional.
The final tag: Every artist needs a signature. Create your own tag and add it to your finished work of art.
The gallery reveal: Step back and admire the collective work of the group—the perfect moment for photos!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Martin is famously known as the cultural centre of Slovakia, but who says culture has to stay inside a museum? We love bringing our pop-up events to this historic city because the contrast between Martin’s classical architecture and modern street art creates such a cool vibe. From the bustling energy near the Slovak National Museum to the quiet creative pockets around the town, Martin is a fantastic backdrop for urban expression.

Fun Fact: Did you know Martin was once the centre of the Slovak national movement? Today, we’re starting our own "creative movement" one spray can at a time! 🎨
