Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with protective overalls, gloves, and high quality masks. The spray paints we use are professional grade but handled under the strict supervision of our experienced artists. We also ensure the workshop area is well ventilated. Before we even touch a can, every student gets a thorough safety briefing to ensure a fun and injury free experience for everyone involved.

Do the students need to have prior art experience?

Not at all! Our primary school workshops are designed for beginners. Our artists are great at breaking down complex techniques into simple, easy to follow steps. We start with basic shapes and lines before moving on to more creative tasks. Whether a student is a blooming Picasso or has never held a marker, they will find success and walk away feeling like a true street artist.

What equipment does Graffitifun provide?

We provide everything you need for a successful session. This includes a wide variety of colorful spray paint cans, caps, protective gear like ponchos and gloves, and the canvases or boards for the final masterpiece. We even provide sketches and inspiration boards to help get the creative juices flowing. All the school needs to provide is a suitable outdoor or well ventilated space and a whole lot of energy!

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This is the sweet spot for primary school students as it allows enough time for a safety briefing, technique practice, and the creation of their final artwork without losing their focus. We can also customize the duration to fit into your specific school timetable or double periods if you have a larger project in mind for the day.

What is the maximum group size for a school workshop?

We are very flexible! We can work with small focus groups of 10 students or host large scale events for an entire grade level. For larger groups, we simply bring in more of our professional artist instructors to ensure every child gets the personal attention and guidance they need. We maintain a high teacher to student ratio to keep the environment safe, organized, and highly interactive.

Where can we host the workshop on our school campus?

We usually recommend setting up in an outdoor area like a school basketball court, a sheltered walkway, or a car park. If outdoors is not an option, a very well ventilated indoor hall with high ceilings can sometimes work. We bring floor protection to ensure we leave the premises exactly as we found them. Our team can help you assess the best spot on your campus during the booking process.

What are the payment terms for Singapore schools?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We do not require any upfront payment or deposits to secure your booking. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed and you are 100% satisfied with the results. This makes the administrative process much easier for school finance departments. We accept various payment methods and will provide a clear invoice after the event.

Local culture

Singapore has a unique relationship with street art. While the city is known for its discipline, the local art scene is thriving in designated zones like Haji Lane and the Aliwal Arts Centre. Our workshops teach students the vital difference between illegal vandalism and the beautiful, commissioned murals that decorate our urban landscape. We emphasize respect for public spaces while celebrating the vibrant colors that make our city state so special.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the longest graffiti mural in Singapore was once located at the Rail Corridor? It stretched for hundreds of meters! We bring that same level of grand ambition to your school, showing kids that their imagination can be bigger than a piece of paper.
