Is the graffiti workshop safe for young people?

Our graffiti youth projects provide a safe and controlled environment for self-expression. We use low-odor spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor areas and provide all necessary safety gear, including professional grade masks and gloves. Our experienced instructors supervise every step to ensure that the creativity stays on the canvas and everyone stays safe throughout the session. We prioritize technical skill and safety above all else.

Do participants need prior art experience?

Not at all. Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the basics of how to hold a spray can and move on to advanced shading techniques. Our professional artists are there to guide students of all skill levels, ensuring that every participant walks away with a piece of art they are proud of. It is all about the process and having fun.

What should the youth participants wear?

We recommend wearing old clothes that you do not mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, spray paint can sometimes find its way onto shoes or sleeves. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are a must for safety. Think of it as a creative workout where getting a little messy is part of the legendary experience.

How long does a typical youth workshop last?

A standard youth project session typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of street art, practice basic strokes, and complete a large scale collaborative mural or individual canvases. We can also customize the duration to fit into your specific youth center schedule or school holiday program if needed.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes high-quality spray cans in a vibrant range of colors, protective masks, gloves, and overalls. We also provide the canvases or boards that the youth will work on. You just need to bring your energy and a willingness to try something totally new and exciting.

Where in Singapore do the workshops take place?

Our youth projects are highly mobile. We can host the workshop at various outdoor locations across Singapore, or we can bring the entire setup to your youth club, community center, or school. We use specialized mobile graffiti walls that allow us to turn almost any open space into a temporary street art gallery without leaving a permanent mark on the venue.

Can you facilitate large group mural projects?

Absolutely. We believe street art is a powerful tool for teamwork. Many of our youth projects focus on creating one giant mural where each person contributes a specific part. This requires communication, planning, and cooperation. It is a fantastic way for young people to build confidence and learn how to work together toward a massive, colorful goal.

Local culture

Singapore might be known for its clean streets, but it also has a flourishing and regulated street art scene that is truly world-class. From the iconic murals in Haji Lane to the vibrant walls of Kampong Gelam, the city-state embraces urban art as a form of cultural storytelling. Our youth projects tap into this local spirit, teaching participants that art can be both bold and respectful. We operate within the professional boundaries of the local arts scene, ensuring every project is an asset to the neighborhood. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Singapore has dedicated "Soils" and "Skate Parks" where graffiti is legally encouraged? Places like Somerset Skate Park are hubs where the youth can practice their craft anytime!
