Is the special needs graffiti workshop safe for participants?

Yes, safety is our top priority for every participant. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our professional instructors are experienced in managing groups with various needs and ensure that the spray cans are used in a controlled, safe environment. We only use non-toxic paints where possible and conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor spaces across Bangalore to ensure everyone breathes easy while creating.

Can you cater to specific physical or developmental needs?

Absolutely! We believe art has no barriers. Our workshops are designed to be inclusive, and we can adapt our teaching methods for individuals with physical, developmental, or sensory challenges. Bangalore is a diverse city, and our local artists are trained to provide patient, step-by-step guidance. Whether it is adjusting the height of the canvas or using adaptive tools, we make sure everyone feels included and successful.

How long does a typical workshop last?

We recommend a duration of about 1.5 to 2 hours for our special needs sessions in Bangalore. This timeframe is usually perfect—it provides enough time for everyone to learn the basics and complete their masterpiece without leading to fatigue or overstimulation. However, we are flexible and can adjust the pace of the workshop based on the energy levels and requirements of your specific group.

Where in Bangalore do these workshops take place?

Finding the right spot is key. We often host these sessions at accessible public legal walls or private outdoor spaces in Bangalore. If you have a specific facility, school, or community centre in mind that has an outdoor area, we can come to you! We ensure the location is wheelchair accessible and has the necessary amenities to make the experience comfortable for all participants.

Do I need to pay in advance for the booking?

At Graffitifun, we believe in trust and transparency. You do not need to make any upfront payments to book your workshop. You only pay after the session is completed and everyone is happy with their experience. This allows you to book with total peace of mind, knowing that we are committed to delivering a high-quality, engaging, and joyful session for your group in Bangalore.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our expert Bangalore-based artists start with the very basics—how to hold a spray can, how to control the pressure, and how to create simple shapes. We focus on the joy of expression rather than technical perfection. By the end of the session, every participant will be amazed at what they have managed to create on the wall.

Local culture

Bangalore, often called the Garden City, has a thriving underground art scene that has blossomed on its flyovers and compound walls. From the colourful murals in Malleshwaram to the edgy street art in Indiranagar, the city is a canvas of expression. Our special needs program taps into this local culture, offering a way for everyone to contribute to the city's creative spirit.

We understand the local pulse and the importance of community in Bangalore. By bringing these workshops to the city, we are making sure that the "Bangalore spirit"—one of innovation and inclusion—is reflected in the street art community. It is not just about paint; it is about making sure everyone in our city feels seen and heard through their art.
