Is the graffiti workshop safe for individuals with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, water-based spray paints whenever possible, which are much gentler than traditional aerosols. We also provide full protective gear, including masks, gloves, and ponchos. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone stays safe while having a blast. We adapt our teaching style to match the specific needs of every participant.

Are your workshop locations in Pune wheelchair accessible?

Accessibility is key to our mission in Pune. We carefully select locations that are wheelchair accessible and have appropriate facilities. If we are coming to your venue, we'll work with you to ensure the layout allows for easy movement. We can set up canvases at various heights so that everyone, whether standing or seated, can comfortably reach their 'mural' and express themselves fully.

Do participants need any prior art experience or skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist-instructors focus on 'process over perfection.' We use techniques like stenciling and tape-art that allow participants to create impressive shapes and patterns without needing prior drawing skills. It’s all about the joy of using bright colours and the physical sensation of creating something big and bold. Everyone leaves feeling like a pro!

What is the ideal group size for a special needs workshop?

We recommend a comfortable group size of 10 to 20 participants to ensure everyone gets individual attention, but we can definitely accommodate larger groups by bringing in extra backup artists. For special needs programs, we often suggest a higher artist-to-participant ratio to provide better support. Let us know your group's specific requirements, and we will tailor the team size to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience.

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard workshops usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours. However, we are completely flexible. We understand that some groups may prefer a shorter, high-energy session, while others might benefit from a slower pace with more breaks. We'll chat with you beforehand to settle on a rhythm that works best for your participants' concentration levels and physical comfort. It's all about a relaxed, happy vibe!

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything! This includes a wide array of colourful spray cans, protective clothing (aprons/ponchos, gloves, and masks), and the 'canvas' (which could be a temporary wall, large boards, or individual canvases). We also bring all the inspiration—stencils, cap varieties, and design ideas. You just need to show up in clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty and bring your creative energy!

How do I book a workshop and what are the payment terms?

Booking is super easy and budget-friendly because you don't have to pay anything upfront! You can book your date through our website or by contacting us directly. Whether you're in Koregaon Park or Hinjewadi, we'll coordinate the logistics. You only settle the payment after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. It’s our 'Fun Guaranteed' promise to the Pune community!

The experience

Our special needs program is more than just a painting class; it's a sensory and social breakthrough. Here is why you'll love it:

Sensory Engagement: The vibrant colours and the rhythmic 'psshhh' of the spray can provide a wonderful sensory experience. ✨
Motor Skills Development: Handling the cans helps in practicing fine and gross motor coordination in a fun way. 💪
Confidence Boosting: Seeing a large-scale work of art completed by their own hands gives participants a massive sense of pride. 🏆
Trained Professionals: Our artists aren't just talented; they are patient, encouraging, and experts at adapting to different needs. 🤝
Safe Environment: We use high-grade, non-toxic materials and provide all necessary protective gear. 🛡️
Pure Joy: Above all, it’s about laughter, music, and the freedom to express oneself without judgment! 🎉

Step by step

Consultation & Planning: We start by chatting with you to understand the specific needs, interests, and abilities of your group to customise the session.
Site Selection: We choose a Pune-based location that is accessible and safe, or we prepare to bring the entire setup to your specific facility.
Safety Briefing: On the day, we begin with a friendly, easy-to-follow safety demo, introducing the gear and the low-odour paints.
Texture & Feel: Participants get to touch the cans and practice the 'feel' of the spray on a practice board to get comfortable with the pressure.
Design Brainstorm: Our artists help the group pick a theme—maybe it's a giant colourful rainbow, a space scene, or a beautiful garden.
The Main Event: With guided support, everyone begins adding their layer of colour. We use stencils to help create sharp, satisfying shapes and outlines.
The Grand Reveal: We step back to admire the collective masterpiece! It's a great moment for photos and high-fives all around.
Safety Wrap-up: We ensure everyone is cleaned up and the area is left tidy. If individual canvases were used, they are ready to be taken home!

Local culture

Pune, the cultural capital of Maharashtra, is a city that breathes art—from the traditional Wada architecture to the modern, sprawling murals of Kasba Peth. Our workshops tap into this local 'Puneri' spirit of innovation and inclusivity. We draw inspiration from the city's lush greenery and its evolving urban landscape to encourage our participants to express their unique stories through paint.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Pune is home to some of India's most vibrant street art festivals? The city's walls are often used as canvases to spread social messages, making it the perfect backdrop for a workshop that celebrates diversity and community! 🌟
