Is the paint safe for primary school children?

Safety is our number one priority! We use water-based, low-odour spray paints that are much gentler than standard industrial cans. Every student is provided with a high-quality mask, gloves, and a protective suit to keep their school uniforms clean. Our professional artists are also experts at managing large groups of children, ensuring everyone follows safety protocols while having a blast. It’s all about creative fun in a controlled, safe environment! 🛡️

Do the students need to have prior drawing skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our artists start with a live demonstration and teach the kids basic 'can control' techniques. We use specialized caps that make it easier for small hands to spray. Most children are amazed at what they can create within just two hours. We focus on the process and the 'wow' factor, ensuring every child feels like a pro by the end of the day. 🎨

Where in Pune does the workshop take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop right on your school grounds in Pune—the playground or a covered basketball court works perfectly. If your school doesn't have a suitable outdoor space, we can help arrange a local creative studio or a mobile setup. We bring all the boards and protective floor coverings, so we leave the space exactly as we found it (except maybe with more smiles!). 🏫

How long does a typical workshop last?

A typical primary school session lasts between 90 minutes to 3 hours. This includes the introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of the mural or individual canvases. We can easily adapt the timing to fit into your school’s periods or half-day activity schedules. We make sure the pace is energetic enough to keep the kids engaged without feeling rushed. ⏳

What is the ideal group size for a workshop?

We recommend groups of 15 to 30 students per artist to ensure everyone gets enough attention. However, for Pune schools with larger cohorts, we can deploy multiple artists simultaneously to handle over 100 students in rotations. This ensures that even in a large school setting, every child gets a hands-on experience and personal guidance from a street art expert. 🤝

Are there educational elements involved in the workshop?

Absolutely! While the kids love the spray cans, we also include sketching sessions and 'marker work' for finer details. We can even tie the workshop into your curriculum—whether it's learning about colour theory, history, or a specific school value like 'teamwork'. This makes the experience both a fun physical activity and a valuable educational lesson for the students. 📚

What should the students wear on the day?

We recommend students wear old clothes and sneakers, just in case! Even though we provide full-body protective suits and gloves, graffiti can sometimes get a bit messy when the creative juices are flowing. If they are wearing their Pune school uniforms, the suits usually do the trick, but it's always safer to have 'creative' clothes on for the day! 👕

Safety First: Every student gets geared up with masks, suits, and gloves while learning the 'golden rules' of using spray cans.
Mastering the Can: Artists teach 'can control'—showing kids how to make thin lines, fat drips, and cool fades. ✨
Sketching the Dream: Before hitting the wall, students plan their designs on paper, focusing on letters and bold characters.
First Sprays: Under expert guidance, kids start filling in large areas of color on our mobile graffiti walls or canvases.
The Outline Magic: Our artists help the students add those sharp black outlines that make the graffiti 'pop' and look professional! 🎤
Adding the 'Bling': We teach them how to add highlights, stars, and cool 3D effects to give their artwork depth.
The Grand Reveal: The school community comes together to admire the finished masterpiece. It’s a huge confidence booster! 🏆
Clean Up & High Fives: We pack up everything, leaving the school spotless, and hand out stickers or certificates to our new street artists.

Local culture

Pune has always been the "Oxford of the East," but lately, it's also becoming a canvas for incredible street art. From the colorful walls of Kasba Peth to the creative vibes around FC Road, the city is breathing new life through murals. We bring that same 'Punaichi' spirit into your school! We love incorporating local elements—maybe a graffiti-style tiger or patterns inspired by the city’s heritage—into our school projects. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Pune hosts some of the coolest street art festivals in India? The city's walls are increasingly becoming a public gallery, making it the perfect place for kids to learn this modern art form! 🇮🇳
