Is the equipment safe for people with physical or sensory sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, water-based spray paint options for indoor sessions or for those with sensitivities. While standard aerosols are used in well-ventilated outdoor areas, we provide high-grade masks, gloves, and overalls to ensure everyone stays clean and safe. Our team is trained to manage equipment in a way that minimises risk while maximising the sensory fun of the creative process.

How long does a typical workshop last for special needs groups?

We are incredibly flexible. While a standard session lasts around 2 hours, we can break this into smaller 20-minute chunks with 'chill-out' intervals, or extend it for those who need a slower pace. We work around the concentration levels and physical needs of your group. Just let us know the preferred rhythm when booking, and our Bordeaux artists will adapt the schedule accordingly.

Can you host the workshop at a wheelchair-accessible location in Bordeaux?

Yes, we can! We have several partner locations in Bordeaux that are fully wheelchair accessible and have appropriate facilities. Alternatively, our 'mobile workshop' service allows us to bring the entire graffiti experience to your own centre, school, or care home. We bring all the protective floor coverings and boards, so you don't have to worry about the logistics of transport for your participants.

Do participants need any prior art experience or drawing skills?

Not at all. We specialise in making graffiti approachable for everyone, regardless of their artistic background. We use techniques like stencilling, tape-art, and collaborative 'fill-ins' that allow participants to contribute to a masterpiece without needing fine motor skills or drawing experience. The goal is expression and enjoyment, not technical perfection, making it a stress-free environment for every learner.

How do your instructors handle different types of learning disabilities?

Our artists are experienced in working with diverse groups, including those with autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities. We focus on patience, visual communication, and positive reinforcement. If there are specific triggers or communication methods we should be aware of, we encourage a chat beforehand so our instructors can prepare the best possible environment for your specific group in Bordeaux.

What happens to the artwork created during the workshop?

The final creation is yours to keep! If we work on large wooden panels or canvases, they make fantastic permanent installations for your facility's walls. Some groups choose to create individual smaller canvases that participants can take home as a memento of their achievement. We can also arrange for a professional photo session of the group with their finished street art piece.

Local culture

Bordeaux is famous for its elegant wine culture, but the city's heart beats with a vibrant urban art pulse. From the sprawling Darwin Ecosystem on the Right Bank to the hidden murals in the Chartrons district, Bordeaux is a canvas for creative expression. Our special needs workshops tap into this local energy, using the city's inclusive spirit as inspiration.

We often draw inspiration from the diverse street art found near the Garonne river, encouraging our participants to feel part of Bordeaux's evolving cultural scene. By bringing graffiti into the community through an accessible lens, we help bridge the gap between traditional art forms and the raw, exciting world of street muralism.

Pricing

Our workshop prices in Bordeaux are designed to be accessible, with costs ranging from €30 to €65 per person.

The final price depends on the number of participants, the chosen location, and any specific material requirements (such as large-scale wooden panels or custom stencils). We are committed to transparency, which is why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy and never require upfront payments.
