Is the graffiti workshop safe for individuals with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. We use high-quality, low-odour spray paints where possible and provide full protective gear, including masks, gloves, and ponchos. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly while having a blast. We adapt our teaching style to match the physical and cognitive needs of every participant.

What should participants wear to the session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide protective ponchos and gloves, graffiti is a hands-on, creative process and occasionally a splash of colour might find its way onto shoes or sleeves. Think of it as a badge of honour from your creative adventure in Chongqing!

Do we need any prior art experience to join?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our friendly artists will guide you through everything from holding the can to masterfully creating shapes and gradients. We focus on the joy of expression rather than technical perfection. Everyone will leave the session feeling like a true street artist, regardless of their previous art experience.

Are the workshop locations in Chongqing wheelchair accessible?

Chongqing is famous for its hills, but we carefully select workshop locations that are accessible. If you have specific requirements regarding wheelchair ramps, sensory-quiet zones, or limited walking distances, please let us know in advance. We can also bring the workshop to your specific facility or school if that is more comfortable for your group.

How long does a typical special needs graffiti session last?

Standard sessions usually last between 1.5 and 2 hours, but we are completely flexible. We understand that some groups may need more frequent breaks or a slower pace to process instructions. We can lengthen the session or break it into smaller segments to ensure everyone stays engaged and happy without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

Can you bring the graffiti workshop to our own facility?

We sure do! If you can't come to one of our street art spots, we can bring the entire 'Graffitifun experience' to your centre, school, or community hall in Chongqing. We use mobile plastic walls or large canvases to ensure your venue stays clean while the creativity flows. It’s a great way to keep participants in a familiar environment.

How do I book and when do I need to pay?

Booking is easy and stress-free. You can request a quote via our website without any upfront payment. We'll chat about your group's specific needs, the number of participants, and your preferred date. Once everything is confirmed, you only pay after the workshop is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we provide.

Local culture

Chongqing is a city built on layers, much like a great piece of street art! Known as the 'Mountain City', its dramatic verticality and neon-lit bridges offer a stunning inspiration for any artist. The local street art scene has grown significantly, with areas like Huangjueping Graffiti Street showcasing the city's love for public expression. By hosting our workshops here, we connect participants with Chongqing's modern, urban heartbeat.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Huangjueping in Chongqing is home to one of the longest graffiti-covered streets in the world? It covers over 1.25 kilometres and involved over 800 artists! 🎨
