Do I need to be a professional artist to join the training?

Absolutely no prior graffiti experience is needed to join our teacher training in Mar del Plata. We designed this course specifically for educators who might be starting from scratch. We’ll guide you through the basics of spray can control, safety protocols, and lettering before moving on to the pedagogical aspects of teaching the craft. It is all about giving you the confidence to lead your own classroom sessions!

Is the spray paint safe for use in school environments?

Yes, safety is our top priority! We provide high-quality FFP3 masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. During the training, we also teach you how to set up a safe workspace for your students, including ventilation requirements and proper storage of materials. You’ll leave the workshop not just as a better artist, but as a certified safety-conscious instructor.

What is the minimum group size for teacher training? village?

For our Mar del Plata sessions, we generally recommend a minimum of 4 participants to get the best collaborative energy, but we can accommodate groups of up to 30 people. If you are an individual teacher looking for professional development, get in touch! We often bundle individual educators together for a more vibrant and cost-effective learning experience. Larger school departments are also very welcome.

What materials are included in the professional development price?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint, various nozzle types (caps), protective gear, practice surfaces, and a comprehensive digital handbook. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little paint on. After the session, you even get to keep a toolkit of resources to help plan your first independent school mural project.

Can the training be held at our own school premises?

We are highly flexible. While we love working at our dedicated street art spots near the Mar del Plata port or downtown areas, we can also come directly to your school or community centre. As long as there is a suitable outdoor wall or a well-ventilated space, we can bring the Graffitifun experience to your doorstep, saving your team travel time.

How long does the teacher training certification take?

Typically, our professional development workshops last between 3 to 5 hours. This allows enough time to cover the history of street art, technical skills, safety training, and a mock-teaching session. However, we can adapt the duration to fit into your 'jornada de capacitación' or inset day schedule. We also offer multi-day intensives for those wanting a deeper dive.

Do we need to pay in advance for the training?

We understand that school budgets and planning can be complex. That’s why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy. You can book your date and secure your instructor without any upfront costs. This gives you peace of mind and allows for easier administrative processing on your end. We focus on the art first, the paperwork second!
