Do I need to have graffiti experience before joining the training?

Absolutely no previous street art experience is required! Our Nausori training is designed specifically for traditional art teachers or educators who want to expand their repertoire. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold a can and control pressure—before moving into complex lettering and mural design. You will leave the session feeling confident enough to lead your own classroom through a successful and safe graffiti project.

Is the spray paint safe to use in a school environment?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respirators, gloves, and protective overalls for all participants. During the professional development session, we also dedicate a specific module to classroom safety. You will learn how to manage ventilation, choose low-odour paints suitable for school environments, and set up a safe outdoor 'graffiti zone' that keeps both your students and the school property protected.

How long does the teacher training session last?

The session usually lasts between 2.5 to 4 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the theoretical history of street art, master the technical spraying skills, and complete a collaborative mural. For larger faculty groups in Nausori, we can adapt the timing to fit into your professional development day schedule or run it as an after-school intensive. We are all about flexibility!

Will I receive a certificate or accreditation after the workshop?

Yes, every teacher who completes our training receives a Graffitifun Certificate of Participation. While accreditation varies by district, this certificate serves as proof of professional development and technical skill acquisition. Many teachers in Fiji use this to demonstrate their commitment to contemporary art forms and inclusive teaching practices. Plus, it looks great on your classroom wall!

What materials are included in the training package?

We provide everything you need to get creative. This includes a wide array of premium spray paint colours, various nozzle types (caps) for different effects, protective gear, and the painting surfaces themselves. We also provide digital resources and lesson plan templates that you can take back to your school in Nausori to help you implement your new skills immediately. Just bring your enthusiasm!

How does the 'pay after' policy work for schools?

We believe in the quality of our training so much that we don't require any payment until the workshop is completed. Once you are totally happy with the experience and feel ready to inspire your students, we handle the administration. We also have backup artists available across Fiji to ensure your scheduled professional development day never gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Local culture

Nausori is a town with a unique rhythm, deeply connected to the Rewa River and the vibrant community spirit of the Central Division. While Fiji is famous for its traditional masi cloth and woodcarving, the modern art scene is exploding with new energy. By bringing graffiti training to Nausori, we're helping local teachers bridge the gap between heritage and contemporary urban expression. 🇫🇯

Fun Fact: Did you know that the historic Rarawai-Kavanagasau Light Railway used to be the heartbeat of transport here? Just like those vintage tracks, graffiti is all about movement and lines—perfect inspiration for your next school mural project!
