Do I need to be an experienced artist to join the training?

You do not need any prior spray painting experience at all. Our Queretaro based trainers are experts at teaching the basics to beginners. We focus on transferable skills that you can take back to your classroom, starting with safety and basic can control before moving on to complex mural techniques. We provide a supportive environment where making mistakes is just part of the creative process.

What safety equipment is provided during the teacher training?

Safety is our absolute priority in every session. We provide high quality FFP masks, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. Our workshops take place in well ventilated spaces or outdoors, and we use professional grade aerosols. Part of your training includes learning how to manage these safety protocols with your own students, ensuring you can lead school sessions with complete confidence and peace of mind.

How long does a typical professional development session last?

The training typically lasts between 2 and 4 hours, depending on your specific goals and group size. We can condense the session for a quick professional development day or extend it into a deep dive masterclass. Because we believe in flexibility, we work around your school schedule to ensure you get the most value without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by the technical aspects.

Will I receive a certificate or accreditation after the workshop?

Absolutely. Our program is specifically designed for educators, and we provide you with a certificate of completion that details the skills you have mastered. While local accreditation varies by institution, most schools in Queretaro and beyond recognise this as valid professional development in the creative arts. It is a fantastic addition to your teaching portfolio and demonstrates a commitment to modern pedagogy.

What are the payment terms for school groups?

We pride ourselves on a hassle free booking process for schools and teachers. You do not need to make any upfront payments to secure your date. We believe in the quality of our training, so you only pay after the workshop is complete and you are fully satisfied with the experience. This takes the financial risk away and makes it much easier to get budget approval.

Are materials included in the training cost?

We supply everything you need for the day. This includes a wide range of professional spray paint colours, various nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective clothing, and practice surfaces. We also provide digital resources and lesson plan templates that you can take home. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting a bit of dust on.

Can you accommodate large groups of teachers?

Yes, we can accommodate groups of almost any size. Whether you are a solo art teacher looking for 1 on 1 coaching or a full faculty department looking for a team building professional development day, we have the staff and equipment to handle it. For larger groups, we bring in additional professional artists to ensure every teacher gets plenty of individual attention and hands on guidance.

Local culture

Queretaro is a city that breathes history, but it is also a rising star in the Mexican contemporary art scene. From the colonial charm of the Centro Historico to the modern murals popping up in neighborhoods like Hércules and Santa Rosa Jáuregui, the city provides a stunning backdrop for artistic growth. Our training taps into this local energy, drawing inspiration from the "Muros en Blanco" initiatives that have transformed Queretaro's urban landscape into a public gallery.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Queretaro has hosted international street art festivals that bring together artists from all over the world? This local movement makes it the perfect place for teachers to learn the craft in an environment where street art is respected as a powerful form of cultural expression. 🌟

By joining us, you are not just learning a craft, you are joining a community of creatives who are dedicated to making Queretaro even more beautiful, one wall at a time.
