Do I need prior graffiti experience to join the training?

Absolutely! Our Zaragoza training is designed for all skill levels. We start with the basics of can control, nozzle types, and safety protocols before moving into complex mural design. You don't need to be a 'street artist' to start; you just need a passion for teaching and a willingness to get your hands a little messy! We'll give you the confidence to lead a class with authority.

Do you cover eco-friendly or indoor-safe painting options?

Yes, sustainability is a huge part of modern street art. We provide information on water-based aerosols and eco-friendly practices that are perfect for school environments. We also discuss how to manage paint waste and recycle cans responsibly. This ensures your future workshops in Zaragoza or elsewhere are not only fun but also environmentally conscious and safe for indoor use if necessary.

How long does the teacher training session last?

Our standard professional development sessions in Zaragoza typically last between 2.5 to 4 hours. This timeframe allows us to cover the essential theory, safety demonstrations, and a significant amount of 'hands-on' practice. If your teaching department requires a more intensive full-day residency or a multi-day certificate course, we can certainly customise the schedule to meet your specific curriculum needs.

What materials are included in the training package?

We've got you covered! We provide high-quality spray masks (FFP3 or similar), disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. We also provide all the premium spray paint and various 'caps' (nozzles) you'll need. The only thing we suggest is that you wear comfortable, old shoes, as those are the one thing we can't fully protect from the occasional stray paint mist!

How do you handle the safety aspect for school environments?

Safety is our top priority. We teach you how to set up a 'safe zone' for students, the importance of ventilation, and how to properly instruct teenagers on the use of aerosols. You'll learn how to manage a group of 20+ students safely, ensuring everyone follows the rules while still having an amazing time. We provide a full safety checklist you can take back to your school.

Can I integrate this training into my existing art curriculum?

Definitely. Street art is a fantastic lens for exploring social justice, local history, and graphic design. During the Zaragoza training, we brainstorm ways to link graffiti to the National Curriculum. Whether it's exploring 'Goya' through a modern street art lens or using geometry to design 3D lettering, we help you make graffiti a powerful, valid educational tool for your students.

Is there an upfront payment required for the booking?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We don't require any payment at the time of booking. You can arrange your professional development day today and handle the payment once the workshop is successfully completed. This makes it much easier for school departments and art cooperatives in Zaragoza to manage their budgets without the stress of upfront costs.

Local culture

Zaragoza is a city that breathes art, blending its ancient Mudéjar heritage with a roaring modern street art scene. Every year, the city transforms during the Asalto Festival, one of Spain's premier urban art events, which has filled streets like those in the Casco Histórico with world-class murals. By taking your teacher training here, you aren't just learning a skill; you're joining a local tradition of public expression that spans from the classic works of Goya to the massive masterpieces found in the Oliver neighbourhood. ✨

Fun fact: Zaragoza is home to the 'Parque de la Memoria', where you can find some of the most historic and respected legal graffiti walls in the region, serving as a constant gallery for local talent!

Pricing

Our training sessions are competitively priced to fit school and departmental budgets. The cost typically ranges between €25 and €50 per person, depending on the number of participants and the specific materials required (such as large-scale mural walls vs. canvas boards).

Every school has different needs, so we prefer to give you a price that fits your specific situation perfectly!
