Is graffiti spray painting safe for young children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks. We use low-odour professional spray paint specifically designed for ease of use. Our expert artists in Rakiraki are trained to supervise children closely, ensuring they handle the cans correctly while having a blast in a secure environment.

Do the kids need to be good at drawing?

The best part about our Rakiraki kid's parties is that you don't need a single ounce of artistic experience! Our workshops are designed to be beginner-friendly. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or has never held a spray can before, our patient instructors will guide them through every step with simple, fun techniques that guarantee a masterpiece.

Can the workshop be held indoors or outdoors?

We are 100% flexible! While we love taking the party outside to enjoy the Fiji sunshine, we can also host workshops indoors if you have a suitable space or if the weather turns. We use protective flooring and wall coverings to ensure your venue stays exactly as it was—only the canvases get the colourful treatment!

How long does a typical kids' party workshop last?

A standard kids' birthday workshop in Rakiraki usually lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This gives the children plenty of time to learn the basics, practice their 'tags', and complete their final canvas without losing focus. We find this is the perfect 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high and creativity flowing.

What is the recommended age for the participants?

We recommend a minimum age of 6 or 7 years old so they have the hand strength to press the spray nozzles. However, we can adapt sessions for slightly younger children using paint markers and stencils. There is no upper limit—even the 'big kids' (parents) often find themselves wanting to join in on the fun!

What do I need to provide for the workshop?

Everything is included! We provide the spray cans, a wide variety of vibrant paint colours, masks, gloves, and the canvases that the kids get to keep. You just need to provide the space and the excited group of creators. We even handle the setup and the cleanup of our gear afterwards.

How do I book and when do I need to pay?

We make the booking process as stress-free as possible for parents. You don't need to pay anything upfront! We believe in the quality of our service, so you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. Just request a quote, and we'll handle the rest of the logistics for you.

Step by step

The warm welcome: Our professional artist arrives at your Rakiraki location to set up the 'creative zone', laying down protection and prepping the canvases.
Safety first: Every child gets kitted out in their protective gear. We explain how to use the equipment safely while keeping the vibe upbeat and exciting.
Intro to tools: We teach the kids about 'caps' (nozzles) and how different pressures create different lines. It’s like magic on a canvas!
Practice session: Before the final piece, everyone gets to practice their 'tag' and basic shapes on a practice wall or board to build their confidence.
Design time: Under our guidance, the kids sketch out their ideas. They can choose their names, cool characters, or wild abstract patterns.
The big spray: The real fun begins! Each child uses professional spray cans to bring their design to life with a riot of colours.
Masterpiece finishing: Our artist helps with the fine details, adding 'outlines' and 'highlights' to make their artwork really pop like professional street art.
Group photo & exhibition: We finish with a grand reveal! The kids show off their work for photos—a perfect memory of the best birthday ever.
Take it home: The canvases dry quickly, meaning every guest leaves with their own unique piece of art to hang on their bedroom wall.

Local culture

Rakiraki is famous for its breathtaking scenery and the iconic Nakauvadra Range, but who says the beauty has to stay on the hills? We’re bringing a modern, urban artistic twist to Ra Province. While the town is known for its traditional charm and sugar industry history, our workshops introduce the kids to a whole new world of contemporary expression.

Fun Fact: Rakiraki is the gateway to the Bligh Water, and our graffiti colours are often inspired by the incredible blues and corals found right off the coast. We love seeing kids incorporate these local tropical vibes into their urban tags!
