The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next holiday break in Rakiraki? It’s more than just painting; it’s about building confidence and discovering a new way to communicate! ✨

  • Expert artist guidance: Our pros aren't just great artists; they are amazing mentors who love working with kids.
  • Total creative freedom: No "right" or "wrong" here—just pure expression and fun with colours.
  • Safe and professional: We use top-tier safety gear so parents can relax while the kids get messy.
  • Zero stress booking: No upfront payment required. We’re so confident you’ll love it, you only pay once we’re done!
  • Physical and active: It gets the kids moving, stretching, and using their motor skills in a way a classroom never could. 💪
  • Take it home: Every child leaves with their own custom canvas to hang on their bedroom wall!

Step by step

  1. Introduction & Safety: We start with a high-energy intro where kids meet our pro artists and learn how to use the gear safely.
  2. Concept Sketching: Every student gets a sketchbook to brainstorm their tag, name, or character before hitting the walls.
  3. Can Control 101: We head to the practice area to learn "nozzle knowledge"—how to make thin lines, fat splashes, and smooth fades.
  4. The Masterpiece Outline: Time to go big! Participants begin sketching their main design onto their dedicated canvas or wall space.
  5. Filling & Colouring: This is where the magic happens! We guide the kids through choosing vibrant colour palettes and filling in their shapes.
  6. Outlining & Highlights: The pros show how "cutting in" with a dark outline and adding white highlights makes the artwork pop off the surface.
  7. Final Touches: Students add stars, drips, or bubbles to give their work that authentic street art look.
  8. Photo Session: We capture the proud moments with a group photo in front of the finished colourful gallery!

Local culture

Street art in Rakiraki

Rakiraki is famous for its stunning views of Mt. Nakauvadra and its proximity to the Bligh Water, but we’re adding a new splash of colour to this coastal paradise! While Fiji is known for its traditional masi art and woodcarving, our graffiti workshops bridge the gap between ancient creativity and modern urban expression. We love seeing kids incorporate Fijian motifs, like the frangipani or local ocean life, into their graffiti tags.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the Ra Province is considered the spiritual heart of Fiji? We take inspiration from the powerful local legends to help kids create art that feels truly connected to the Rakiraki landscape! 🛡️

Our workshops often take place in breezy, open-air settings that make the most of the Rakiraki sunshine, creating a relaxed island vibe for our young artists to thrive in.
