What should the children wear to the graffiti party?

Children should wear old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. Although we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti is a messy business, and it’s better to be safe than sorry! We recommend comfortable clothes that allow them to move around freely while they work on their masterpieces. We provide all the professional safety gear needed.

What is the minimum age for a graffiti workshop?

We generally recommend our graffiti workshops for children aged 6 and up. At this age, they usually have the motor skills to handle the spray cans and follow the safety instructions. However, we are experts at adapting our teaching style! For younger groups, we focus more on collaboration and larger shapes, while older kids can dive into more intricate tagging and shading techniques.

Is the spray paint safe for children to use?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide professional-grade face masks, gloves, and protective suits for every child. Our artists are highly trained in workshop safety and supervise the group at all times. We use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier and safer for children to control, ensuring a fun environment where everyone stays protected while being creative.

Can you host the party at our home or a private venue?

If you have a suitable outdoor space or a very well-ventilated garage, we can certainly come to you! If not, don't worry—we have access to fantastic creative spaces in Tacuarembo. When you book, just let us know your preference, and we’ll help arrange the perfect spot. We make sure the location is safe, legal, and ready for some serious spray painting action.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A typical kids' graffiti party lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This is the 'sweet spot' where energy remains high and everyone has enough time to finish their individual canvas and contribute to the large group mural. We can adjust the timing slightly based on your schedule or the number of participants, ensuring every child feels like a true street artist by the end.

Do the kids get to keep the art they create?

Absolutely! Every child gets to create their own unique piece of art on a canvas or board, which they take home at the end of the day. It’s the ultimate party bag! It serves as a fantastic souvenir of the birthday celebration. Additionally, the group often creates a large collective mural that makes for incredible photos before the party wraps up.

How do I book and do I need to pay in advance?

Booking is easy and stress-free! You can request a quote via our website or use our Cost Calculator for an instant estimate. We don't require any payment upfront—you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation ruining the big day.

Zero boredom: Hands-on action from start to finish keeps every child engaged and excited. 🔥
Safe & Professional: We use high-quality, kid-friendly gear and our artists are pros at managing groups. 💪
Take-home art: No need for plastic party bags—every kid takes home their own hand-painted canvas! 🏆
Stress-free for parents: We handle the setup, the teaching, and the cleanup. You just enjoy the photos!
Unique experience: Be the parent who throws the party that everyone in Tacuarembo is talking about. 🎉

Step by step

The arrival: Your professional graffiti artist arrives at the Tacuarembo venue with all the gear, getting everything set up for a mess-free creative explosion.
Safety first: We suit everyone up in protective overalls, gloves, and high-quality masks so the only thing getting painted is the canvas!
Mastering the tools: The kids get a fun intro to the spray cans, learning how to control the pressure and create different line widths like a pro.
Sketching the dream: Every child starts by sketching their ideas. Will it be their name, a cool character, or a wild abstract design?
Painting the canvas: Time to spray! Each child works on their own individual canvas, layering colours and effects with guidance from our artists.
The "Big Piece": The group comes together to work on a massive collective mural, learning how to collaborate on a large-scale street art project.
Final flourishes: We add the finishing touches—outlines, highlights, and those "secret" artist techniques that make the art pop.
The Reveal: Group photos and high-fives all round! The kids admire their work and get ready to take their masterpieces home.

Local culture

Tacuarembo is the heart of Uruguay's gaucho culture, but it’s also a city that knows how to celebrate creativity! While we honour the local traditions at the Fiesta de la Patria Gaucha, our workshops bring a modern, urban twist to the "Heart of the North". We love the artistic spirit found in the city’s plazas and the colourful murals that pop up around the 18 de Julio street. Our workshops encourage local kids to add their own modern chapter to Tacuarembo's rich cultural story.

Fun Fact: Did you know Tacuarembo is the birthplace of the legendary Carlos Gardel? Just like his tangos, graffiti is all about rhythm, soul, and making an impact! 🎤
