Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, water-based spray paints for our indoor sessions and low-odour options elsewhere. We provide all participants with protective suits, gloves, and masks. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone stays safe while having a blast. Safety is our number one priority, so you can focus entirely on the creative joy of the day!

How do you adapt the workshop for different physical or cognitive needs?

We believe art is for everyone. Whether a participant has mobility challenges, sensory sensitivities, or learning disabilities, we adapt our teaching style. We can adjust the height of the boards, use different nozzle types for easier spraying, and provide quiet zones if the environment becomes overstimulating. Just let us know your specific requirements, and we will make it work perfectly for you.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

No, not at all! This workshop is designed for absolute beginners. Our artist-mentors guide the group through every single step, from holding the can to filling in colours. We focus on the process and the 'fun factor' rather than technical perfection. It is all about the wonderful feeling of seeing your own colours appear on a large scale for the first time.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard special needs session in Tacuarembo usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides enough time to learn the basics and complete a masterpiece without becoming overly tiring. However, we are flexible! If you need a shorter session with more breaks or a longer, more relaxed pace, we can easily customise the schedule to suit your group.

Where do the workshops take place in Tacuarembo?

We can come to you! We often host workshops at community centres, schools, or private gardens across Tacuarembo. If you don't have a venue, we can help find a suitable outdoor spot where we have permission to paint. We bring all the 'heavy lifting'—the boards, the paint, and the protective gear—so you just need to show up ready to create.

What is your booking and payment process?

Booking is simple and stress-free. You don't need to pay anything upfront. Simply reach out via our contact form or cost calculator to check availability. Once we've tailored the plan to your needs, we'll get you on the schedule. You only pay after the workshop is completed, ensuring you are 100% happy with the experience we've provided!

The experience

Choosing an activity for groups with special needs requires care, and we’ve spent years perfecting our approach to ensure every participant feels like a superstar. Here is why our program stands out:

Sensory satisfaction: The sound, the motion, and the instant visual feedback make graffiti a uniquely engaging sensory experience. ✨
Total inclusivity: We adapt our equipment and techniques so that everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive ability, can participate. ♿
Confidence boost: Seeing a massive, colourful creation that you helped build provides an incredible sense of achievement. 🏆
Professional empathy: Our artists aren't just talented painters; they are patient, kind, and experts at making people feel at ease. ❤️
Safe & Clean: We provide top-tier protective gear and use the safest paints possible, keeping the focus entirely on the fun. 🛡️
Flexible locations: We can come to your facility or meet at an accessible public space across Tacuarembo. 📍

Step by step

The warm welcome: Our friendly artists arrive and set up the 'canvas' walls. We start with a relaxed introduction to make everyone feel comfortable and excited.
Suit up for fun: Everyone gets their own protective gear, including trendy overalls and masks—it's the first step to feeling like a real street artist!
First spray: We demonstrate how to hold the can and control the pressure. Participants get to practice making dots and lines on a practice area.
Design time: Together, we choose a theme or an easy-to-follow design. Our artists help sketch out the outlines so the group has a clear guide.
Adding the colour: This is the best part! Everyone picks their favourite vibrant colours and starts filling in the shapes. It’s a sensory explosion of colour!
Creative details: We show participants how to add 'shines' or 'shadows' to make their art pop off the wall.
The big reveal: We take a step back to admire the collective masterpiece. It’s a huge moment of pride for every individual involved.
The photoshoot: We capture high-quality photos of the group with their work—memories that will last a lifetime!
Clean up: We handle the tidy-up, leaving nothing behind but the beautiful artwork and huge smiles.

Local culture

Tacuarembo is a city with a soul as deep as its gaucho traditions, and we love bringing a modern, urban twist to this historic landscape. Known for the legendary "Patria Gaucha" and the haunting tangos of Carlos Gardel, Tacuarembo is a place where storytelling is in the blood. Our workshops build on that culture of expression, using the walls as a new kind of canvas for local voices. From the quiet streets near the Plaza 19 de Abril to the community spirit found in our local neighbourhoods, we bring the vibrant energy of street art to everyone in the community.

Fun fact: Tacuarembo is home to some of the most beautiful hand-painted murals in Uruguay, celebrating local history. Our workshops help continue this colourful tradition by introducing a new generation of artists to the power of public art!
