Is the spray paint safe for students to use?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep students safe and their school uniforms clean. We also use low-odor spray paint where possible and conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas. Our professional instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a controlled and secure environment for everyone involved.

Do students need prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Our workshops are designed for beginners. We start with the absolute basics, from how to hold the can to mastering nozzle pressure. Our artists guide students through every step, ensuring that even those who have never picked up a brush before leave with a piece of art they are proud of. It is all about building confidence and discovering new talents in a supportive, fun atmosphere.

Where in Toa Payoh do the school workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop right on your school grounds in Toa Payoh if you have a suitable outdoor area or a well-ventilated hall. Alternatively, we can help arrange a session at one of our partner creative spaces in Singapore. We bring all the necessary equipment, including mobile graffiti walls if needed, so we can basically set up a street art studio anywhere!

How long does a typical school session last?

A typical school workshop lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction to street art history, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the completion of a final group mural or individual canvases. We can also adjust the timing to fit into your specific school timetable or double-period blocks if required. Just let us know your schedule!

What materials do we need to provide?

Graffitifun provides everything! Your school doesn't need to worry about a thing. We bring the spray cans in a rainbow of colors, caps (nozzles), protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the painting surfaces (canvases or boards). We even handle the setup and the intensive cleanup afterwards. You just need to bring the students and their creative energy! 🎨

How much does a school graffiti workshop cost?

The price varies based on the number of students, the duration of the session, and the materials used (like individual canvases versus a large communal mural). Generally, prices range from S$45 to S$100 per student. We are committed to making art accessible and offer competitive rates for local Toa Payoh schools. Local culture

Toa Payoh is a neighborhood rich in history—being Singapore's first satellite town—and it has always been a place of community and heritage. From the iconic Dragon Playground to the bustling HDB hubs, the local spirit is perfect for collaborative art. We love bringing street art to this district because it bridges the gap between traditional "makan" culture and the modern, creative energy of Singapore's youth. 🇸🇬

Fun fact: Did you know "Toa Payoh" translates to "Big Swamp" in Hokkien? We've come a long way from swamps to skyscrapers, and our workshops celebrate this evolution through colorful, modern murals! 🐲

In a town known for its pioneer spirit, we encourage students to be pioneers of their own style. Our workshops often draw inspiration from the local Toa Payoh landmarks, turning local pride into vivid spray-painted reality.

Pricing

We offer flexible pricing to suit diverse school budgets in Toa Payoh. Our goal is to ensure every student gets a chance to experience the joy of street art. 🏆
