Do we need any previous artistic experience?

Absolutely no prior art experience is needed! Our Lucerne graffiti workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to tech-savvy students. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, starting with basic can control and moving up to complex layering. It’s all about having fun, de-stressing from your studies, and trying something completely out of your comfort zone in a supportive, high-energy environment.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to create your masterpiece! This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, high-quality masks, protective overalls, gloves, and the canvases or boards you'll be painting on. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. We handle the setup and the cleanup so you can focus entirely on your creativity.

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our top priority. We provide professional-grade FFP3 respiratory masks to ensure nobody breathes in paint fumes. We also offer gloves and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated indoor spaces that meet all safety regulations. Plus, our artists are trained to supervise groups safely, ensuring a worry-free experience for all university departments.

How long does a typical session last?

Most university workshops in Lucerne last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives your group enough time to learn the techniques, sketch their ideas, and complete a final piece they can be proud of. If you have a specific schedule or a shorter time slot during a student union event, we can adapt the duration to fit your needs perfectly!

What is the cost for a university group?

The price usually ranges from CHF 40 to CHF 85 per person. This varies based on the size of your student group, the location, and the specific materials requested (like individual canvases versus a giant collaborative mural). We offer competitive rates for university societies and student unions. To get an accurate price for your specific event, just request a custom quote via our website.

Do we have to pay in advance?

Yes! We don't require upfront payments or deposits to secure your booking. We believe in the quality of our service and want the process to be as low-stress as possible for student organisers. You can pay after the workshop is completed and everyone is satisfied with their street art experience. This makes coordinating university budgets and society funds much simpler.

What happens if it rains on the day?

Lucerne is beautiful, but the weather can be unpredictable. If it rains, we have several options. We can move the workshop to a covered outdoor location, an indoor studio, or provide professional pop-up tents to keep the artists and the artwork dry. We also have backup artists on standby, so your event will never be cancelled due to staff illness. Your creative session is guaranteed!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Lucerne might be famous for its medieval Chapel Bridge and stunning lakeside views, but beneath the surface lies a growing and vibrant urban art scene. From the creative hubs around Neubad to the expressive walls in the industrial outskirts, street art is becoming a key part of the city's modern identity. Our workshops tap into this local energy, allowing students from the University of Lucerne or HSLU to contribute to the city's visual story.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Lucerne has several 'legal walls' specifically designated for street art to encourage local talent without the legal risks? It's a city that truly respects the craft!

Whether we are painting by the Reuss or in a dedicated urban space, the atmosphere in Lucerne is always inspiring. It’s the perfect backdrop for a day of creative exploration and team building with your fellow students. ✨
