Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone from total beginners to seasoned doodlers. Our pro artists will walk you through the basics of can control, lines, and shading. You'll be amazed at how quickly you can create something impressive once you learn a few 'pro' secrets. It's all about the experience and having a blast with your university friends.

Is it safe to use spray cans?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respirators (masks), gloves, and protective overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. Our instructors are trained in site safety and will ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly. Plus, we use professional-grade spray paint that meets all safety standards, so you can focus entirely on your creative flow.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us plenty of time for a proper introduction, some practice runs on the 'practice wall', and then the main event—creating your own masterpiece. We find this timing is perfect for keeping the energy high without anyone getting too tired to finish their piece. Larger groups can be accommodated with adjusted timing.

What materials are included in the session?

We’ve got you covered! We provide everything: premium spray cans in every colour of the rainbow, nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective gear, and the surfaces we'll be painting on. Just bring yourself, some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, and your most creative ideas. We handle the setup and the cleanup.

What happens if it rains on the day of our workshop?

Valparaiso's weather is usually great, but if it pours, we have backup plans! We can often move the session to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with proper ventilation depending on the venue. If the weather is truly impossible, we’ll work with your university society or department to reschedule for the next available sunny slot. We won't let a bit of rain dampen your spirits.

Can we keep the artwork we create?

We offer various formats! We can work on individual canvases that students take home, or we can collaborate on one massive, epic mural that lives on campus (with permission, of course!). We can even do 'live' graffiti during university festivals where students can drop in and add their own tags throughout the day. Tell us your vision and we'll make it happen.
