How it works

  1. Intro and safety briefing: We kick things off with a quick chat about the history of graffiti and a vital safety demo. We make sure every student knows how to use the gear properly.
  2. Geared up: Everyone gets fitted with professional masks, gloves, and protective suits. Looking like a pro is part of the fun!
  3. Basic techniques: Our artists demonstrate how to control the spray can. Students learn about distance, pressure, and how to make different line widths.
  4. First sketches: It’s time to practice! Students grab a can and try out their ideas on a practice wall to get a feel for the medium.
  5. Concept design: Now the real work begins. We help the kids sketch out their final design, focusing on letters, characters, or abstract shapes.
  6. Final masterpiece: The students move onto their final canvas or board. This is where they bring all their new skills together to create something amazing.
  7. The finishing touches: We show them how to add highlights, "force fields" (outlines), and those final details that make the artwork pop.
  8. Group photo and cleanup: We celebrate the hard work with a group photo of the artists and their work. Then, we take care of all the cleaning so you don't have to!

Frequently asked questions

Do the kids need any prior art experience to join?

Absolutely! No previous drawing or painting skills are required. Our professional artists are there to guide the students through every single step, from holding the spray can correctly to layering colours and adding final highlights. We focus on the process and having a blast, ensuring every participant leaves with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of. It’s all about building confidence through creativity!

Is the workshop safe for children and teenagers?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks, gloves, and overalls to keep clothes clean. We use low-odour professional spray paints, and our workshops are always held in well-ventilated spaces. Our instructors are highly experienced in managing groups and ensure that all safety protocols are followed strictly throughout the entire session.

How long does a typical after-school session last?

Our standard after-school workshops in Nausori typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of time to learn the basic techniques, practice on the practice wall, and complete a final masterpiece. If you have specific scheduling needs or a shorter timeframe, we can often adjust the programme to fit your school’s extracurricular schedule.

Where in Nausori does the workshop take place?

We bring the party to you! We usually conduct these workshops on the school premises, utilizing outdoor areas, covered courts, or well-ventilated halls. If your school doesn't have a suitable space, get in touch and we can discuss potential local community venues in Nausori. All we need is a bit of space and some fresh air to get the creative juices flowing safely.

What items are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything! Your booking includes all premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), canvases or boards to paint on, and expert tuition from our artists. Students just need to bring their enthusiasm and wear clothes they don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on. We handle the setup and the cleanup, making it totally stress-free for the school staff.

When do we need to pay for the workshop?

We believe in total flexibility and trust. You don’t have to pay a single cent upfront to lock in your date. We only send the invoice after the workshop has been successfully completed and everyone is happy with the result. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we provide for your students before the final payment is made.

What happens if it rains or an artist is unavailable?

Rain doesn't have to stop the fun! If the weather looks shaky, we can move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or a large, well-ventilated indoor space. Because we use protective floor coverings, we can adapt to most environments. We also have a pool of backup artists available, so even if an instructor is unwell, your scheduled after-school activity will still go ahead as planned.
