Frequently asked questions

Do I need any prior art experience to join the Wewak pop-up?

Absolutely! Most of our guests in Wewak have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, teaching you how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create clean lines. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. We provide a supportive, high-energy environment where 'mistakes' are just part of the art!

What should I wear to the graffiti workshop?

We suggest wearing older clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little 'decorated' with paint. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti is a messy business, and stray mist can travel! Think of it as your artist's uniform for the day. Avoid expensive fabrics or your favourite trainers just to be safe.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with professional-grade FFP2 respiratory masks and gloves to ensure a safe breathing environment. We prefer to host our Wewak pop-up events in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or large open-sided marquees. Our gear meets high safety standards, so you can focus entirely on your creative flow.

How long does the pop-up event usually last?

Typically, our pop-up sessions in Wewak last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a thorough introduction, some practice drills on the 'training wall,' and the creation of your final spray-paint project. It’s a fast-paced, high-energy experience that flies by because you're having so much fun!

What is the minimum or maximum group size?

Our pop-up workshops are very flexible! We can accommodate small groups of friends or large-scale community events. Whether you have 10 people or 100, we scale our team of artists and material supplies to suit your needs. For very large groups in Wewak, we often set up multiple 'creative zones' to keep everyone active and engaged.

Are children allowed to participate in the workshop?

We love working with kids! Our standard workshops are generally suitable for ages 8 and up, as they need the hand strength to press the spray nozzle. For younger children in Wewak, we can arrange special 'street art' activities using water-based markers or stencils. It’s a fantastic way for the whole family to bond over a shared creative project.

What happens if I need to cancel or if weather is bad?

We want your booking to be stress-free! Unlike many other providers, we don't require upfront payments. You can secure your date and pay after the workshop concludes. We also have a dedicated team of backup artists ready to step in, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. We're here to make your Wewak event perfect!
