How it works

  1. The initial spark: Reach out to us with your preferred dates and group size in Žilina. We’ll chat about your goals and give you a quick quote.
  2. Design session: On the day, our pro artists start with a brief intro into the history of street art and the 'alphabet' of graffiti.
  3. Sketching it out: Students grab markers and paper to plan their designs, learning about letter flow, 3D effects, and shadows.
  4. Gear up: Safety first! Everyone gets kitted out in masks, gloves, and overalls to stay clean and protected.
  5. Can control: We head to the wall where students learn 'can control'—practising lines, dots, and fades to get a feel for the pressure.
  6. The big outline: Students begin scaling up their sketches onto the mural surface, guided by our artists every step of the way.
  7. Filling and styling: This is where the magic happens! Adding vibrant colours, 'wildstyle' elements, and those crucial highlights.
  8. The grand reveal: We step back to admire the collective masterpiece and snap some epic group photos for the school social media.
  9. Tidying up: We handle all the cleanup, leaving your school grounds exactly as we found them—just a bit more colourful!

Frequently asked questions

How long does the workshop for secondary schools usually last?

Our workshops in Žilina usually run for about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This gives students enough time to learn the basic strokes, practice their 'tag', and collaborate on a large-scale mural. If you have specific curriculum requirements or time constraints, we can easily adapt the schedule to fit your school's timetable perfectly without rushing the creative process.

Is the spray paint safe for students to use?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls for every student and teacher. Our professional instructors are trained to manage large groups safely, and the water-based spray paint we use is much friendlier for the environment and the participants than traditional hardware store paints.

Do students need to have any previous drawing or art experience?

Definitely not! No prior artistic skill is needed to have a great time. Our graffiti artists are experts at breaking down complex letter structures into simple shapes. We guide everyone from 'stick-figure' beginners to advanced art students. The goal is to build confidence and express personality through colour and style, regardless of their starting level.

Do we need to travel to a studio, or can you come to our school?

We are very flexible! We can bring mobile wooden walls or large canvases to your school grounds in Žilina, or we can host the session at a legal local 'hall of fame' wall if you prefer. As long as there is an outdoor space or a very well-ventilated area, we can set up our creative zone just about anywhere.

What materials does the school need to provide?

Graffitifun provides everything! We bring the spray cans in a huge variety of vibrant colours, caps (nozzles), protective gear, sketching materials, and the painting surface. All you need to bring is your school spirit, some old clothes (just in case!), and plenty of creative energy. We handle the setup and the cleanup afterwards too!

Do we have to pay upfront to secure our booking?

Great question! We don't believe in charging you before the fun has even begun. After your workshop in Žilina is finished and everyone is happy with their masterpieces, we will send an invoice for payment. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any money changes hands. It's our 'fun guaranteed' policy!

Can this workshop be integrated into our school's art curriculum?

Graffiti is a fantastic tool for exploring topics like urban culture, typography, social commentary, and modern history. We can tailor the workshop to focus on specific themes you are teaching in class, such as 'sustainability', 'identity', or 'community'. It's a hands-on way to make academic concepts feel tangible and exciting for secondary school students.
