- Safety briefing: We start with a gentle introduction to the equipment, fitting everyone with masks and gloves in a calm, supportive manner.
- Colour selection: Participants choose their favourite spray paint colours, encouraging personal expression and decision-making.
- Basic techniques: Artists demonstrate simple movements, like making dots, lines, and soft clouds of colour on the practice surface.
- Collaborative creation: Everyone contributes to a larger mural or individual boards, working at their own pace with guided assistance.
- Final touches: We help participants add outlines or highlights to make their artwork pop.

Frequently asked questions
Is the workshop safe for participants with sensory sensitivities?
Yes, safety is our main priority. We provide high-quality protective masks, gloves, and overalls to ensure everyone stays clean and safe. Our facilitators are trained to supervise the use of spray cans closely, ensuring that every participant feels comfortable and secure while they explore their creativity. We also choose well-ventilated locations specifically suited for these workshops.
Can you accommodate wheelchair users or those with limited mobility?
Absolutely. We believe that everyone should have the chance to create art. We work with you beforehand to understand the specific mobility or sensory requirements of your group. Whether it's adjustable easel heights, wheelchair-accessible spaces, or using low-pressure cans that are easier to handle, we tailor the entire environment in Braga to be 100% inclusive.
Do we need to pay for the workshop in advance?
No, there is no need to pay anything upfront! We operate on a basis of trust and professional service. You can book your session today to secure your date, and the payment is only handled after the workshop has been completed. This ensures you are completely happy with the experience we provided for your group in Braga.
How long does a typical session last?
Our standard special needs workshops usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. We find this is the perfect 'sweet spot' to keep engagement high without causing fatigue. However, we are flexible; if your group needs more frequent breaks or a shorter, more intense session, we can easily adjust the schedule to fit your specific needs.
Do participants need to have any prior artistic experience?
Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, from holding the can to creating basic shapes and splashes of colour. It is all about the process of expression and having fun with the paint, rather than creating a perfect masterpiece on the first go.
What happens if the artist is unable to make it?
In the rare event that your lead artist is unwell, we have a reliable network of backup artists ready to step in. We know how important consistency and planning are for special needs groups, so we guarantee that your workshop will go ahead as scheduled without any last-minute cancellations.
