Is the graffiti workshop safe for people with disabilities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our artists are trained to supervise participants closely, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and safely. We select well-ventilated outdoor locations in Viseu or suitable indoor spaces that meet all safety standards, so everyone can focus entirely on having a great time.

Do participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops in Viseu are designed for all skill levels, especially those who have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists provide step-by-step guidance, starting with basic techniques. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection. Whether you’re a natural artist or just want to try something new, you’ll leave with a masterpiece and a smile.

What is the ideal group size for this workshop?

We are very flexible with group sizes to ensure a high-quality experience. For special needs programmes, we often recommend smaller groups to allow for more individual attention from our artists. However, we can accommodate larger groups by bringing in additional artists to maintain a supportive ratio. Just let us know your group's specific requirements, and we will tailor the session to fit perfectly.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard session usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes the introductory briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of the artwork. We are happy to adjust the pace of the workshop to suit the energy levels and concentration spans of our participants. Our goal is to ensure the experience is relaxing and enjoyable, never rushed or overwhelming.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide full protective overalls, gloves, and masks, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy! It’s best to be prepared so you can move freely and express yourself without worrying about your favourite outfit. Bringing a bottle of water and a camera is also a great idea!

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

In the event of rain, we have several options. Viseu has some great sheltered spots, or we can move the workshop to an indoor location equipped with proper ventilation. Because we have a large team and backup artists available, we rarely have to cancel sessions. We will coordinate with you in advance to ensure the weather doesn't dampen your creative spirit.

How do we book a workshop in Viseu?

Booking is easy! You can contact us through our website to request a custom quote. We don't require any upfront payment—you simply pay after the workshop is completed. Once we agree on a date, time, and location in Viseu, we handle all the logistics and materials. This stress-free approach allows you to focus on organising your group for their big day.

Local culture

Viseu, often called the 'City of Gardens', provides a stunning and tranquil setting for our creative workshops. But beyond its lush greenery and the majestic Sé de Viseu, the city has a growing appreciation for contemporary expression. From the murals found during the local street art festivals to the creative energy in the Fontelo Park area, Viseu is a place where tradition meets modern flair. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, encouraging participants to feel part of the city's evolving artistic story.

Fun Fact: Did you know Viseu has been voted several times as the city with the best quality of life in Portugal? We try to reflect that high quality of life in our workshops by ensuring a stress-free, joyful, and healthy environment for every participant! 🎨
