I've never done graffiti before; can I still join?

Absolutely! Our onboarding workshops in Viseu are designed specifically for beginners. We start with the absolute basics, from how to hold the spray can to controlling pressure and distance. Our professional artists will be right by your side, guiding you through every stroke until you've created something you're truly proud of. Almost everyone who joins us has never touched a spray can before, so you're in great company!

Is the workshop safe and what should I wear?

Safety is our top priority while we're getting creative. We provide high-quality face masks to prevent you from inhaling any fumes, as well as protective gloves and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and old trainers just in case a stray drop of paint lands on them. Our artists also give a full safety briefing before any cans are shaken!

How long does the graffiti experience last?

The workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us plenty of time to cover the history of the craft, practice basic techniques on plastic film or practice walls, and then move on to the grand finale—creating your final masterpiece. We move at a pace that keeps the energy high while ensuring everyone feels comfortable with their progress.

What happens if it rains on the day?

Viseu is a beautiful city, and if the weather is nice, we love to work outdoors to get that authentic street art vibe. However, if the Portuguese weather isn't playing ball, we have several indoor locations or sheltered spots available to ensure the fun doesn't stop. We'll always confirm the exact location with you well in advance based on the weather forecast.

Do I need to pay or make a deposit in advance?

We believe in a stress-free booking process. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your workshop in Viseu. You can pay after the workshop is completed, once you've had a fantastic time and seen the results for yourself. This reflects our 100% satisfaction focus—we want you to be totally happy with the experience!

Are all materials included in the workshop price?

Everything is included in the price! We provide all the professional-grade spray paint in a huge range of colours, caps (nozzles), protective gear, and the surfaces we'll be painting on. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and perhaps a camera to snap photos of your work. There are no hidden costs or extra material fees to worry about.

Do you offer workshops for specific groups or in other cities?

Viseu is a great central hub, but we also host workshops in Lisbon, Porto, Braga, and Coimbra. If you're looking for something specific, we also offer tailored sessions for schools, festivals, bachelor parties, brand activations, and kids' parties. Just let us know what you're looking for and we can make it happen!

The experience

Why choose our Viseu workshop? Because we believe art should be messy, loud, and accessible to everyone! Here’s why we’re the top choice for urban explorers in Viseu:

🔥 Pro-grade gear: Use the same high-quality cans and caps used by world-class muralists.
🎨 Real artists, real talk: Our instructors aren't just teachers; they are active street performers who live and breathe this culture.
💪 Zero stress booking: Don't pay a penny until the workshop is over—we're that confident you'll love it.
✨ Total creative freedom: We guide you, but the masterpiece is 100% yours. No boring templates here!
🏆 Reliability: With backup artists on standby, your Viseu experience will never be cancelled.

Step by step

Warm welcome: Meet your professional street artist guide at our Viseu creative hub for a quick introduction.
The basics: Learn about the history of graffiti culture and how it evolved into the modern street art we see today.
Can control: Get your hands on the cans! We'll teach you the "finger-tip" technique to control spray pressure and line width.
Sketching your tag: Grab a marker or chalk and sketch out your first design ideas on the practice surface.
Filling and fading: Learn the secrets of professional "fills"—how to blend colours and create those iconic gradients.
The outline: Trace your design with a steady hand to make your artwork pop against the background.
Final flourishes: Add highlights, shadows, and "force fields" to give your piece that professional 3D look.
Photo op: Strike a pose in front of your finished masterpiece for the perfect social media shot!
The cleanup: We handle the mess while you head off into Viseu with a new set of creative skills.

Good to know

Duration: 1.5 to 3 hours of hands-on creative fun.

Local culture

Viseu isn't just the city of green spaces and ancient cathedrals; it's a hidden gem for urban creativity! While the city is famous for its history, the local art scene is thriving, with modern murals breathing new life into older neighbourhoods. Our workshops take inspiration from the "Garden City's" unique blend of tradition and modernity.

Fun Fact: Viseu has been voted one of the best cities to live in Portugal multiple times, and we think its growing street art culture is a big reason why! Walking through the city after your workshop, you'll start seeing the walls of Viseu with a whole new perspective. 🎨

Pricing

Our workshop prices are as flexible as our art. Depending on how many people are in your group and your specific requirements, prices typically range from:

€20 - €45 per person

Whether you're a duo or a massive squad, we’ve got a setup that fits your budget. Because every event is unique, we recommend getting a tailored price.
