- Safety first: We suit everyone up in protective gear and go over the essential safety rules for using aerosol paint.
- Master the basics: You'll start by practicing basic lines, dots, and filling techniques on practice boards to get a feel for the spray can pressure.
- Sketching the vision: Using our 'Tag Creator' tools or free-hand sketching, groups brainstorm the concept for their final piece.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?
Standard university workshops usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This provides enough time for a comprehensive introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of your masterpiece. If you are planning a larger gala or a multi-day student festival event, we can certainly adjust the timing to fit your specific schedule. We are flexible and aim to make the experience as seamless as possible for your student organisation.
Is it safe, and what gear do we need?
Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. Our professional artists supervise the entire session, ensuring everyone uses the spray cans correctly. We also ensure the chosen location has adequate ventilation or is outdoors, making it a safe and worry-free environment for all students and faculty involved.
Do we need any previous art experience?
Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist-mentors will guide you through the basics, from how to hold the can to creating professional-looking fades and outlines. Most participants are surprised by what they can achieve in just a couple of hours. It’s all about the experience, having fun with your peers, and trying something completely new in a supportive, creative environment.
What happens if it rains during the event?
Tampere's weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered! We can host workshops at various indoor locations with proper ventilation, or we can use large tents for outdoor setups. If the weather is truly uncooperative, our flexible scheduling and backup artist system mean we can often find a solution that keeps the paint flowing without anyone getting soaked. We always have a 'Plan B' ready!
How does the 'no upfront payment' policy work?
We believe in our service so much that we don't require upfront payments. You can settle the bill after the workshop is completed and you're satisfied with the results. This makes the administrative process much easier for university departments and student unions. We also have a network of backup artists, so even if an emergency arises, your event is guaranteed to go ahead as planned.
Can we create a permanent mural for our campus?
Absolutely! We love it when university groups want to create something lasting. We can arrange for the workshop to take place on large mobile wooden panels or canvases that can later be mounted in your student common room, faculty lounge, or union building. It’s a fantastic way to leave a permanent mark of your cohort's creativity on the campus architecture for future students to admire.
