Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical university graffiti workshop last?

Most of our university workshops in Zurich last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives your group enough time to learn the basic safety and spraying techniques, practice their 'tag' on plastic film or paper, and then dive into the main event: creating a large-scale collaborative mural or individual canvases. We find this timeframe is the sweet spot for keeping the energy high without anyone getting 'aerosol fatigue'. Special extended sessions can also be arranged.

Do we need any previous artistic experience to join?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, from how to hold the can to advanced shading techniques. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can create something that looks professional. It’s all about the process, the music, and the creative vibes. Whether you're an art student or a physics major, you'll leave with a masterpiece and a smile.

Is the spray paint safe to use, and what gear do you provide?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. We also use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier for beginners to control. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, and we always ensure the workspace (whether indoor or outdoor) is well-ventilated and properly set up.

Where in Zurich do the workshops take place?

Zurich has some great spots! We can host the workshop at various outdoor 'halls of fame' where graffiti is legal, or we can bring the experience to your university campus using mobile graffiti walls or large canvases. If the Swiss weather isn't playing ball, we have indoor studio options available. We are flexible and can help you find the perfect location that fits your group size and logstical needs.

Can we choose a specific theme for our graffiti mural?

Absolutely! In fact, we recommend it. Many student unions and university departments choose a theme that reflects their field of study, a specific campus event, or a set of values they want to promote. Whether you want to focus on 'Sustainability', 'Innovation', or just create some high-energy abstract art, our artists will work with you to sketch out a concept that brings your vision to life on the wall.

What happens if we need to cancel or change our booking?

We understand that university budgets and schedules can be tricky. That’s why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy and don't require upfront deposits for most bookings. This gives you peace of mind and flexibility. Additionally, we have a pool of backup artists ready to step in, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation ruining your event. We focus on 100% satisfaction for every student group.
