How it works

Intro & Inspiration: We kick things off with a high-energy look at graffiti history and the local Araucanía street art scene.
Safety First: Everyone gets geared up with masks and gloves while learning the essential 'dos and don'ts' of spray painting.
The First Line: Participants learn how to hold the can, control pressure, and create their very first clean lines on the wall.
Style Development: Our artists help the youth develop their own 'tag' or 'throw-up' style, focusing on letter structure and flow.
Colour Theory: We dive into 'fill-ins' and gradients, showing how to make colours pop and blend smoothly.
The Big Project: The group moves onto the main event—painting a collaborative mural or individual masterpieces.
Outlining & Highlights: The pros show how to add 'power lines' and highlights to make the artwork look professional and 3D.
The Reveal: We step back to admire the work, take group photos, and celebrate the incredible transformation of the space.
Clean Up: We wrap up the session responsibly, ensuring the site is tidy and everyone is ready to show off their new skills.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical youth workshop last?

Our Temuco youth projects usually run for about 2 to 3 hours. This gives everyone enough time to learn the basic spray techniques, practice their 'tagging' style, and collaborate on a large-scale mural. We find this timeframe keeps the energy high and the focus sharp, ensuring every participant walks away feeling like they've truly mastered a new skill while having a blast with their mates.

Do the participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional artists are experts at breaking down complex mural techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Whether the youth in your group have never touched a spray can or are already sketching in their notebooks, we tailor our coaching to meet them at their level. It's all about creative exploration and having fun in a safe environment.

What safety measures do you have in place?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are seasoned professionals who begin every session with a comprehensive safety briefing. We only use high-quality spray paint and ensure our workshop locations in Temuco are well-ventilated or outdoors, providing a secure space for creative expression.

Where in Temuco do these workshops take place?

We can host workshops at various locations across Temuco! We have access to several legal 'hall of fame' walls and creative spaces. Alternatively, if you have a specific venue or a school yard with permission, we can bring the mobile studio to you. We are flexible and mobile, making it easy to integrate a high-energy street art session into your existing youth programme or event.

What materials are included in the booking?

We provide everything required for a world-class graffiti experience! This includes a wide array of premium spray cans in every colour of the rainbow, nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective gear, and the surfaces to paint on. We also bring inspiration materials and sketches to help get the creative juices flowing. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of dust on!

Can we do a group project or a shared mural?

Absolutely! Graffiti is a fantastic tool for teamwork. We often structure our youth projects so that participants work together on a single, massive masterpiece. This requires communication, planning, and shared execution. It’s a brilliant way to break down social barriers, build confidence, and give young people a sense of collective pride in a tangible, impressive piece of public-style art.

How do I book and when do I need to pay?

Booking is easy and risk-free with Graffitifun. You can reach out via our contact form or cost calculator to check availability. One of our biggest perks is that no upfront payment is required—you pay after the workshop is complete. Plus, we always have backup artists on standby, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation ruining your planned youth event.
