Do I need any prior art experience to join the 3D workshop?

Absolutely! Most of our guests in Olomouc have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists are expert teachers who break down the complex world of 3D street art into easy, manageable steps. We provide a safe, encouraging environment where you can experiment, make mistakes, and eventually find your flow. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the depth and 'pop' you can achieve on a flat surface.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We’ve got you covered! Graffitifun provides everything you need for the perfect 3D street art experience. This includes high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, specialized caps for different line widths, protective overalls, gloves, and high-standard respiratory masks. We also provide the canvases or designated wall space. Just show up in clothes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, and we handle the rest.

Is the spray paint safe for everyone to use?

Safety is our priority. We use low-pressure spray paint which is easier to control and provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes. Our Olomouc workshops are typically held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially equipped indoor spaces. Our instructors also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone starts spraying, ensuring a fun, hazard-free environment for creators of all ages.

Will our 3D art stay permanently on a wall in Olomouc?

While our standard workshops focus on creating individual or group 3D pieces on professional canvases or temporary walls, we can occasionally arrange for 'legal wall' sessions in Olomouc. If you want your art to remain as a permanent fixture of the city's street scene, let us know during the booking process! We always ensure our activities are 100% legal and respectful of local regulations and property.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard 3D street art workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for the introduction, sketching the 3D 'vanishing points', the base painting, and the intricate detailing that makes 3D art look realistic. We never want you to feel rushed; the goal is to enjoy the creative process and walk away with a piece of art you are genuinely proud of.

What happens if it rains on the day of my workshop?

The weather in Olomouc can be unpredictable, but we always have a Plan B. If the forecast looks rainy for an outdoor session, we can usually move to one of our covered locations or reschedule to a better time. We also have backup artists on standby to ensure that your event goes ahead even if an instructor falls ill. Your creative spark won't be dampened by a few clouds!

Sketching the illusion: You'll grab some chalk or pencils to map out your design, focusing on the angles that make the art 'jump' off the wall.
Safety first: Don your protective gear! We provide overalls, gloves, and professional masks so you can create comfortably.
Base layer application: Fill in your shapes with your primary colours, learning how to use the spray can for smooth, even coverage.
The magic of shadows: Our artists show you how to layer darker tones to create the 'drop shadow' effect essential for 3D realism.
Highlighting: Add 'glints' and light spots to give your art a metallic or glossy finish that catches the eye.
Fine-tuning the outlines: Use specialized 'skinny caps' to sharpen the edges of your piece, making the 3D effect truly pop.

Local culture

Olomouc is a city where history meets a vibrant, youthful energy. While it's famous for the Holy Trinity Column and its astronomical clock, there's an underground creative pulse beating through its hidden courtyards and university districts. The local street art scene is growing, blending respect for the city's baroque heritage with modern, edgy expressions. During our workshops, we tap into this unique Moravian spirit, drawing inspiration from the city's architectural geometry and colorful history.

Fun Fact: Did you know Olomouc holds the second-largest historical preservation zone in the Czech Republic after Prague? It's the perfect place to contrast ancient stone with fresh, modern 3D spray art! 🏰
