Do we need any previous art experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely! Most university students in Olomouc have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists break down the process into easy-to-follow steps. We start with basic lines and safety before moving on to fill-ins and highlights. By the end of the session, even the most 'artistically challenged' student will have created something they can be proud of. It’s all about the experience and having a blast!

What materials are included in the university workshop?

We provide everything you need to get creative. This includes high-quality spray cans in a huge variety of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and high-end FFP3 masks for your safety. We also provide the canvases or designated wall space. The only thing we suggest is that students wear old clothes and sneakers just in case—spray paint is permanent, and sometimes the wind has its own ideas!

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Standard university workshops in Olomouc typically last between 2 to 3 hours. This gives the group plenty of time to learn the techniques, practice their 'tags', and complete a collaborative mural or individual pieces. If you have a specific schedule due to lectures or exams, we can easily customise the duration to fit your timetable—just let us know what works best for your student group.

Is the workshop safe for students?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide professional-grade protective gear, including masks and gloves, and only use high-quality paints. Our instructors are experienced artists who give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and that everyone follows the 'spray-safe' rules throughout the entire session to ensure a fun, risk-free environment for all students.

Where in Olomouc do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at various outdoor locations around Olomouc, or we can bring the experience directly to your university campus if permission is granted. We use mobile graffiti walls that can be set up almost anywhere. If the Czech weather isn't cooperating, we also have indoor solutions using low-odour water-based paints, ensuring the fun doesn't stop because of a bit of rain.

Why is this a good activity for university student groups?

Graffiti is the ultimate icebreaker! It’s a collaborative, hands-on activity that encourages students to step out of their comfort zones and work together. Whether it's for an ESN (Erasmus Student Network) event, a freshers' week activity, or a student society social, our workshops promote communication and shared accomplishment. Plus, it’s a great way to relieve exam stress and get those creative juices flowing outside of the lecture hall.

How does the booking process and payment work?

Booking is easy and stress-free. You don't need to pay anything upfront! Give us an idea of your group size and preferred date, and we’ll send over a custom quote. Once you're happy, we'll lock in the date. You only pay after the workshop is complete and everyone has had a great time. This makes it much easier for student unions or societies to manage their budgets.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Olomouc is often called 'the little Prague', but for students at Palacký University, it’s a world all its own. While the city is packed with stunning Baroque architecture and the famous Holy Trinity Column, there’s a thriving modern pulse beneath the surface. The student population brings a massive amount of energy to the streets, making it the perfect backdrop for a graffiti workshop. We love tapping into that youthful Olomouc spirit! 🏰

Fun Fact: Did you know Olomouc is home to the second-oldest university in the Czech Republic? Palacký University was founded way back in 1573, meaning you're studying in a city that has valued creativity and knowledge for nearly half a millennium!

While we respect the heritage of the city, our workshops provide a temporary, legal outlet for modern expression, ensuring the historic walls stay clean while your creativity stays wild. If you're looking for more art across the country, don't forget we also host workshops in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, and Plzen!

Pricing

We keep our pricing transparent and student-friendly so you can focus on the art, not the admin.

Price per person: Kč600 – Kč1300

Please note that the final price depends on your group size, the length of the session, and the specific setup (e.g., individual canvases vs. a large communal wall). Best of all? There is no upfront payment required. You only pay once the workshop is over and the fun is had! 🚀
