Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Not at all! Our Hradec Kralove workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned doodlers. Our pro artists will walk you through everything from how to hold the spray can to advanced layering techniques. You'll be amazed at the masterpiece you can create in just a few hours with our expert guidance. It's all about having a go and enjoying the process!

How long does a typical university workshop last?

We usually recommend setting aside 2 to 3 hours for the full university experience. This gives us enough time for a proper safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of your large-scale mural or individual canvases. We can also tailor the timing to fit into your society's schedule or a specific university event window.

What about safety and protective gear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also use professional-grade spray paint and conduct sessions in well-ventilated outdoor areas. Our artists are trained to manage groups safely, ensuring everyone has a blast without any risks. Just wear some comfy shoes you don't mind getting a bit of dust on!

Where in Hradec Kralove do the workshops take place?

Hradec Kralove has some fantastic spots! We often work at legal graffiti walls or can set up mobile wooden partitions directly on your campus if the university permits. If the weather is looking a bit 'British' (rainy!), we have indoor options using low-odour water-based paints or even digital graffiti walls depending on your specific requirements and the venue's ventilation.

What is included in the price of the workshop?

Everything is included! We bring a vibrant palette of professional spray cans, caps for different line widths, protective gear, and the 'canvas' (whether that's a wall or individual boards). You just need to bring your enthusiasm and perhaps some water. We handle the setup and the cleanup, so your student union or society doesn't have to worry about a thing.

Can we create a collaborative mural as a group?

Absolutely! One of our most popular university formats is the 'Team Mural.' We'll help your group design a large-scale piece that represents your faculty, sport team, or student society. It’s a brilliant way to encourage communication, problem-solving, and shared pride. Plus, you’ll have an incredible photo op at the end of the session to show off on social media!

How do we book and when do we pay?

Booking is super easy and low-risk. You can reach out via our website to check availability for your preferred date in Hradec Kralove. The best part? There’s no upfront payment required. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We also have backup artists ready to go, so your event is never at risk of cancellation.

Local culture

Hradec Kralove, often called the "Salon of the Republic" for its stunning architecture, provides a unique backdrop for modern street art. While the city is famous for its Gočár and Kotěra designs, there is a thriving underground creative scene fueled by the large student population at the University of Hradec Kralove (UHK) and the Charles University faculties. We love bringing our workshops to this city because the energy is always electric! 🔥

Fun Fact: Did you know Hradec Kralove is home to one of the most famous piano manufacturers in the world? While the city sounds like music, we’re here to make sure it looks like a masterpiece too. From the riverside strolls along the Elbe to the hidden corners near the historic centre, the inspiration for your next tag is everywhere!

Pricing

Our university workshops are designed to be inclusive and affordable for student budgets. Prices typically range from Kč600 to Kč1300 per person, depending on the number of participants and the specific setup of your event.

The best part? No upfront payment is required — you only pay once the spray paint has dried and everyone is happy! 🎉
