Do I need prior experience with spray paint to join the training?

Absolutely no prior graffiti experience is needed! Our master artists-turned-mentors are here to guide you from the very basics of can control to complex piece construction. We focus on teaching you the methodology so you can confidently explain the "how" and "why" to your students, even if you've never picked up a spray can before today. It’s all about professional growth in a stress-free environment.

What materials are included in the teacher training package?

We provide everything required for a successful training session. This includes high-quality low-pressure spray cans (which are easier to control), various nozzles (caps) for different stroke widths, protective overalls, gloves, and high-grade FFP3 masks for your safety. We also provide the practice surfaces and all sketching materials. You just need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

Will I receive a certificate or accreditation after the workshop?

Yes, we provide a certificate of completion for every educator who finishes our professional development workshop. This certificate outlines the skills learned, including safety protocols, spray techniques, and historical context. It’s a fantastic addition to your professional portfolio and demonstrates your commitment to integrating modern, urban art forms into the contemporary classroom curriculum here in Hradec Králové.

How do you handle safety and health during the training?

Safety is our absolute priority. We use high-quality respiratory protection (FFP3 masks) and conduct our sessions in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before any paint is sprayed. We also discuss how you can recreate these safe conditions in a school setting, including advice on child-safe materials and local regulations for educational art projects.

How long does the training session last?

For our professional teacher development sessions, we recommend a duration of 2.5 to 3 hours. This allows enough time to cover the theoretical aspects of street art culture, master the technical spraying skills, and engage in a Q&A session about classroom management during art projects. We can adapt the duration to fit into your school’s professional development day schedule if needed.

Can the training take place at our specific school location?

We are incredibly flexible! While we have fantastic locations in Hradec Králové, we are more than happy to come to your school or community centre. As long as there is a suitable outdoor wall or we can set up our mobile plastic-wrap 'walls' in a ventilated area, we can bring the entire training experience directly to your workplace to save your team travel time.

What are the practical benefits of bringing graffiti into the classroom?

Street art is a powerful tool for engaging students who might find traditional fine arts intimidating. It promotes fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and collaborative teamwork. By learning these techniques, you can offer your students a high-interest medium that encourages self-expression and community pride. It’s also a great way to discuss the thin line between vandalism and public art in a structured, educational way.
