How long does a typical workshop last?

Most workshops in Hradec Králové last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives students enough time to learn the basic strokes, sketch their masterpiece, and execute it on the wall or canvas. We can adjust the duration to fit your school timetable or special event schedule, ensuring a seamless integration into the school day.

Is it messy? What about the students' clothes?

Absolutely! We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and shoe covers to keep school uniforms and clothes clean. We also use professional-grade respirator masks to ensure everyone breathes easy while they paint. Safety is our number one priority, allowing the students to focus entirely on being creative and having a blast.

Where do the workshops take place in Hradec Králové?

We can set up at your school if you have a suitable outdoor space, or we can host the session at a legal graffiti wall in Hradec Králové. If you'd prefer an indoor session, we can work on large canvases or mobile wooden panels. We are flexible and will find the best spot to suit your group's needs!

Do the students need any prior drawing experience?

No artistic talent is required! Our professional artists are experts at guiding beginners. We break everything down into simple steps, from holding the can to creating cool 3D effects. Most students are shocked by how good their work looks by the end of the session. It’s all about confidence and trying something new!

What is the ideal group size for a secondary school group?

We generally recommend groups of 10 to 30 students per artist to ensure everyone gets personal attention. However, we have a large team of backup artists in the Czech Republic, so we can easily accommodate entire year groups or multiple classes simultaneously by bringing in extra professional instructors.

How does the payment process work for schools?

We follow a 'fun first, pay later' policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date. After the workshop is finished and your students are buzzing with excitement, we will send over the invoice. This makes the administrative process much easier for schools and local departments.

What are the educational benefits of a graffiti workshop?

Our workshops aren't just about painting; they encourage teamwork, boost self-esteem, and provide a healthy outlet for self-expression. It’s a fantastic way to teach students about urban culture, color theory, and the difference between street art and vandalism. Plus, it’s a brilliant stress-buster during exam seasons!

The experience

Unleash hidden talent: Watch students who usually struggle in traditional settings shine with a spray can in their hand! ✨
Total safety: We provide top-tier protective gear and professional supervision so no one gets messy (unless they want to!). 🛡️
Zero stress for teachers: We bring all the supplies and handle the setup and cleanup. You just sit back and watch them create.
Authentic experience: Learn from real graffiti artists who live and breathe the culture.
Boost confidence: There is nothing like seeing your own 2-meter tall artwork finished to make a student feel proud. 🏆
Flexible & reliable: With our backup artist system, we never cancel. Your event is in safe hands.

Step by step

Intro and safety briefing: We kick off with a quick history of street art and a vital safety demo on how to use the gear properly.
Mastering the nozzle: Students learn 'can control'—how to create thin lines, fat drips, and smooth gradients.
Concept sketching: Grab the markers! Each student or group pencils out their design ideas on paper first.
The outline: Using their sketches as a guide, students start 'mapping' their design onto the wall or canvas.
Fill-in and fading: This is where the magic happens as we add vibrant colours and blend them together for that pro look.
The power of the outline: We teach the trick of using a high-contrast outline to make the artwork pop.
Detailing and highlights: Adding those final white 'shines' and 3D shadows to give the piece depth.
The big reveal: We step back, peel off any tape, and admire the collective masterpiece created by the class.
Group photo: A final snap of the students with their work—perfect for the school's social media or newsletter!

Local culture

Hradec Králové, the "Saloon of the Republic," is famous for its stunning Gočár and Kotěra architecture, but there is a growing appreciation for modern urban expression too. While the city celebrates its history, our workshops help the younger generation add their own contemporary chapter to the local culture. We often use the vibrant energy of the city's youth scenes—from the university vibes to the local skate parks—as inspiration for our designs.

Fun fact: Did you know Hradec Králové is known for its "Great Square" (Velké náměstí)? It’s the perfect backdrop for students to discuss how public spaces and art can coexist to make a city feel alive! 🏰
