Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our spray paints are low-odour and comply with all safety regulations for children. The workshop takes place in a well-ventilated outdoor area or a designated safe indoor zone. Our professional artists are trained to supervise primary school children carefully, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly while having an absolute blast. Parents and teachers can rest easy!

Do the children need any artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, especially beginners. Our artists start with the basics, teaching kids how to hold the can and control the pressure. We use fun exercises to help them gain confidence before they start on their final masterpiece. It is all about the process and having fun with colours, so every child will walk away feeling like an absolute pro, regardless of their prior art experience.

What should the students wear on the day?

We recommend wearing old clothes and sneakers that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'character' on. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto sleeves or shoes when kids are getting creative! It is best to be prepared for a messy, colourful day of fun. Think of it as wearing your 'artist uniform' for the afternoon!

Where in Hradec Kralove do the workshops take place?

In Hradec Kralove, we can host workshops at various legal graffiti walls or right on your school grounds if you have a suitable outdoor space. If the weather doesn't play ball, we can arrange for indoor sessions using large canvases or special boards in a ventilated hall. We are very flexible and can bring the mobile street art studio to almost any location that suits your school's schedule.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard primary school workshop usually lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, an introduction to street art history, some practice sprays, and the creation of a large-scale group mural or individual pieces. We can easily adjust the timing to fit into your school's timetable or a specific lesson block, ensuring the kids get the full experience without rushing.

What is included in the price?

Everything! We provide the spray cans, caps, protective masks, gloves, overalls, and the surfaces to paint on (whether that is a wall, boards, or canvas). You just need to bring the enthusiastic students! Our expert artists also come fully prepared with all the tools needed to sketch out designs and guide the kids through the whole creative process from start to finish. It’s a complete package of creative fun.

Can we create a permanent mural at our school?

Yes, we certainly can! Many schools in the Czech Republic use our workshops to decorate a specific wall on their playground or a dull corridor. This is a fantastic way to give the students a sense of ownership over their school environment. If you want a permanent mural, just let us know during the booking process so we can plan the designs and materials accordingly to ensure a long-lasting, vibrant result.

The experience

Why choose Graffitifun for your school in Hradec Kralove? Because we don't just teach kids how to spray—we teach them how to dream big! 🚀

Boosts confidence: Seeing a massive piece of art they created themselves gives kids an incredible sense of achievement.
Encourages teamwork: Our murals require everyone to work together, fostering collaboration and communication skills. 🤝
Safe & professional: We use the best gear and have years of experience working with primary-aged children.
No-stress for teachers: We handle everything from the materials to the cleanup—you just enjoy the show!
Purely creative: It's a fantastic alternative to traditional art lessons that many "un-artistic" kids absolutely love.
Flexibility: We can come to you! Whether it's for festivals, kids parties, or standard school sessions.

Step by step

Intro and safety: We start with a high-energy kick-off, explaining the history of street art and going over our safety rules and gear. ✨
First lines: Kids learn how to hold the spray can properly and practice making simple lines and dots on a practice surface.
Concept sketching: Our artists help the students sketch their ideas on paper or directly onto the wall using chalk to plan the mural.
Can control: We teach cool techniques like fading, outlining, and filling in shapes with vibrant colours. 🎨
The big project: The students work together on a large-scale group mural, learning about teamwork and shared creative goals.
Adding details: This is where the magic happens! We add highlights, shadows, and those final 'pop' details to make the art stand out.
Photos and 'tags': Every artist gets to sign their work with a unique tag and we take plenty of group photos with the masterpiece. 📸
Clean up: We teach the kids about respecting the environment by disposing of cans and materials properly.
Grand reveal: We take a final look at the finished work and celebrate the incredible transformation of the space! 🏆

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Hradec Kralove is famous for its "Salón republiky" (Salon of the Republic) architecture, but we believe the city's modern character is just as exciting! Between the historic Gothic cathedral and the futuristic designs of Josef Gočár, there is a whole new generation of local artists emerging. Our workshops celebrate this creative spirit, connecting the city's rich history with the urban energy of today. 🎭

Fun fact: Did you know Hradec Kralove is one of the greenest cities in the Czech Republic? We love bringing bright, colourful street art to this beautiful "Garden of the Republic" to create a stunning contrast! 🌳

Looking for more creative vibes in the region? We also run workshops in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, and Plzen!
